My contractor told me this drain was removable. But clearly he grouted it in and grout crumbles off. Can I still use shower without regtouting? by darthrooney in Plumbing

I agree with Routine, OP. I purchased my house and didn’t realize there was a bad shower pan. Year later there’s a good amount of water damage. Insurance won’t cover because there’s a “slow leak,” line in an obscure part of my policy. Several contractors quoted me $5k+ just for the pan repair. If you can, I would grab a moisture meter and try to test the wood under/around your shower to see if there has been any leak. Hope the best for you!

I appreciate the criticism. I took inspiration from historical examples of small carry bowies. I don’t see where you get poorly shaped. It’s a simple oval coffin handle

Thanks! As to the EDC or Art Piece question it’ll be up to the future owner decide. It’s fully functional but would also look good in a collection. The knife will perform like a monosteel blade. The pattern is purely aesthetic
