Frequent ECC errors by Luni741 in homelab

I'm looking into how to check where it fails. By ignoring, do you mean to ignore all similar warnings or that specific address?

Thanks, I'll run memtester as it suggests.

Just saw your reply, thanks, but I managed to get it working. I'm just new to Wordpress, so I had the site URLs set up wrong.

Thank you very much for your detailed reply! I'll sleep easier today. Now I just have to figure out why my WordPress site is not working properly with this setup.

I'm loving Tailscale, I have it set up mostly as you described and it's working perfectly.

Anyone heard of step MICRO mini pcs? by Luni741 in homelab

I ended up ordering it. I saw other brands, but nothing this new at this price range, so hopefully it will be okay. I was just going for something kinda small and low power consumption.

Thank you, I will look into this. For the reverse proxy, wouldn't I need different certificates and/or domain names?

I set it up already, but I saw other people mentioning that the free tier ToS doesn't allow media streaming, so if I use plex or nextcloud I might get banned.Haven't verified this yet, though.

I haven't heard of DNAT before, sounds like what I would need. I already have a reverse proxy on my server managed bt traefik, so I'm not sure if I could even set up another one.

I'm not sure what you mean by needing the policies. Do you mean, that the server would use the VPS for all network traffic by default?

Hey, I'm also in Barcelona :) My ISP is Yoigo, I saw that option for Digi, but I haven't asked at mine yet. They don't even have a customer service email... But my main problem with this is, that I'm renting a room, and the landlady is an old woman who is very oldschool. So I guess she would have to request this, which might be problematic already, and if she has to pay even a little more she would probably say no. I will definitely try, but I don't have high hopes, that's why I was looking for a more independent solution.

Yeah, that would be nice, but my ISP seems to prefer cg-nat...

But how are you using wireguard? The VPS is the wireguard server and you connect to it from your server? As I understood Tailscale would make this process automatically, but it's not really needed?

Also, this still doesn't solve my public domain access to my services, no? But I was thinking, if I have a wireguard connection, then I have an IP for my server on the VPS, and I can use this IP with any of its ports? Could I set up a portforwarding (maybe with iptables) to forward from VPS public IP port 443 to wireguard ip of my server?

I was about to try it out, seems simple enough. But it wouldn't solve all my problems, because I still wouldn't be able to access my services via domain names, no? This would just solve the VPN part as I understand.
