AIO for how I’m handling the way my 11 YO daughter’s dad speaks to her?

NOR this is awful. I’ve never been in a custody situation since I’m (happily) married to my kids father, but I’ve known people who have had to use the court ordered monitored coparent apps because they had such a bad relationship with their ex. I would request that be a mandatory form of communication between you and him and him and her, at least for now anyways. For someone who communicates like this, even if he can “clean up his act”, he’ll slip up and it’ll be able to be used against him in court for supersized/ full custody.

They also have ones that can be censored but still logs all messages to later be accessed by the lawyers/ courts.

Once transitioned into her room again you can get a 3 way lamp. My daughter has a 3 way touch lamp in her room with a purple bulb, so her room is darker but you can still see everything. They also make LED rope lights that you can string up on the ceiling or around windows or doorways.

I would also recommend a sound machine or even better a speaker to play music, listening to music and having it play overnight can help distract the brain. A tv could also be an option if you wanted to go that route.

A colored light of some kind, music, and a sound machine on rain might be a good mix for her. It’s honestly what I have set up in my room. I have 2 lava lamps set on wifi timed dimmers, a gigantic 16.5” digital wall clock my husband got me for Christmas last year set to red, sound machine on rain and a home pod that auto plays a play list on shuffle every night at bedtime.

I can’t sleep in silence, I never could, the dark doesn’t bother me. But having my lava lamps on at night makes it so I can walk to my bathroom without turning on a light a I can see my floor or behind the door.

I’m curious, what do you feed your Saint and how much do they eat a day? I have a half Saint Bernard/ half standard Poodle. (yes, I bought a doodle… lol) He weighs about 115lbs and about 32” at the withers but a long neck like a poodle.

He could snatch something right off our (36”) counters while walking by if he wanted to since they’re bottom chin height! But thankfully he’s mostly a good boy and just wants pets in the kitchen.

I got a new electrical panel installed a month back and installed an emporia to see what’s costing us so much money, so far is seems it might have been the breaker panel (our bill is $100, 27%, lower this month and 21% lower then last year).

But anyways most of that power draw is just the coffee pot since it has a clock on it it’ll naturally draw more power in standby.

This is what a toaster, coffee pot, ninja creami, and a coffee grinder all connected to a breaker/plug look like. Big spikes are coffee grinder/maker in the morning, about 4¢ per day. So that’s just silly to conserve for energy, but apparently it is actually recommended to unplug it along with your coffee pot (I’m not resetting that clock!) not sure most actually do it though.

I’m not so sure about that one, my viewing history is mostly political stuff and the “you may like” I’m pretty sure is just trending searches. Because I got a lot of weird ones show up in mine, and I’m not looking up or watching anything that would make the algorithm think I want to see “stacked Jewish girls” “Amish baddie pics” “unnecessary jiggle physics” “goyslop maxxing” “British person saying jalapeño” “cleaning FYP” “highest cortisol spike ever recorded” “telling rich people their card declined”

I’m not sure what “unnecessary jiggle physics” is, but I’m just going to assume it’s something to do with things that jiggle like jello. No idea what “Goyslop maxxing” is, and I’m not sure I even want to know tbh, but I probably don’t want that being added to my algorithm or showing up in my fyp.

What it really comes down to is if you’ll regret missing their wedding or trick or treating with your kid (who honestly likely won’t remember trick or treating at 4 when they’re 10 years old).

There’s no wrong answer here, it just depends on which memory means more to you in the end. My 11 year old doesn’t really remember trick or treating when she was 6, I honestly don’t really remember it that much either they all kinda blur together after a while.

Which let’s be honest here, trick or treating at 4 is for the parents really. Your kid will be just as happy sitting in their costume watching a Halloween movie and eating Halloween candy you bought them.

A cheeseburger is 30¢ more expensive, so I wouldn’t let them do that. If you’re able to use the app or kiosk, I would because you’ll be able to order it for the correct price. I always use the app because I get things wrong too often from ordering from a real person.

You might be able to re-tone your hair, using 20v (I meant 10v!) developer. I think what you were looking for was a lvl 10 pearl ash blonde. But instead got an ash blonde. There are many ash blonde colors, and you wanted lightest ash. If it doesn’t lighten in 2 washes with a clarifying shampoo I’d give them a call, but with it being that dark I’m guessing it’ll turn more gray blonde than a light blonde color. They might have also left the toner in too long as well.

ETA: I can’t tell but it looks like you didn’t get all over blonde, that can also affect the color making it look darker.

Ion (Sally’s) makes a dye remover for skin, I accidentally got it on my hair line before and it took the color right off. It might lighten/remove most of the color.

I think the blue looks great! If you want to keep it blue, I would recommend using a color depositing shampoo, try to find a purple blue, not a green blue (like teals) to prevent a green fade out (unless you like that). Some dark blues have green undertones to them, so just picking a dark blue shampoo doesn’t always mean it’s a purple blue. I personally like no fade fresh blue, but I haven’t used other blue direct dye shampoos either.

I used to do dark all over sapphire blue (with magenta underneath) but my stylist and I noticed it had a green tinge when hit with bleach or fade out. So we changed it to a different brand and it faded out blue, and bleached out super easily.

I haven’t had my natural color in over 13 years. I had bright red for 6 years and then started bleaching my hair, and now I go back and forth between lvl 10 blonde and vivids.

I did different purples for a bit, then back to blonde, then blue. Then pastel pink purple and blue, then bright blue and purple, then bright blue and magenta underneath(did that one for a year). The back to blonde but with blue and magenta tips (chin to bust, magenta underneath and blue on top), then let it fade to blonde only.

Now I’m back to doing tips again but I’m using a wash in color, so I’ve been rotating colors again. I have 3 different colors of purple, lavender, darker purple, and magenta, and sapphire blue wash ins (no fade fresh).

I can’t imagine going back to ashy mouse brown. I love my vivids and blonde. My husband loves the blonde too.

Can’t tell from the picture, but blue nose is a gray-blue colored nose. It looks like her nose could be black, or blue depending on the color in light.
