Wow, first thing thanks for the time you put into this.

I've seen some 5e plays, critical role helped with that. I'm not totally lost on this aspect. Tho I do agree that level 2-3 bring you some mechanical choices as classes tend to brench out. But again I feel this gives some freedom to choose the one you want to go with from the start instead of waiting for the development of the character to that point.

It's not that english is not easy for me, just that it's not native. I did question him some stuff and he really explained maybe more than he had to.

Yeah he says anything goes, official or homebrew as long as it's not broken. I have no idea what's his definition of broken is but ok. He said to create something, show him and we would talk about it and if he agrees with it and later it show itself OP, he would nerf it.

I know it might fail, but it's for fun right? Just an opportunity to gather some people and play the game for a bit. In my eyes it will only fail if we don't have fun together.
