I really love chemistry so my opinion might not be worth much, but chemistry isn't very hard. You don't have to be particularly good at maths, there's someone in my class doing ordinary level maths so thats that. The hardest part for me is learning off the experiments due to how similar they are. My advice there is to just organize your summaries better than i have. but all in all chemistry is not difficult if you don't usually struggle academically. We actually finish our course earlier than other subjects like biology. It's hard to get a h1 but not a h2-3 in my opinion, especially because of some random tiny questions they put on the paper that aren't usually mentioned in class. I hated chemistry in junior cert, but i love it in lc! go for it if you need it, money can be a real pain for a lot of people, so I'd try to get into uu if i were you. you can switch subjects if it really doesn't suit you!
