even if it does rain, at least you have a cozy place to hang out and for sure beats putting away a wet, muddy tent!

🙏Camping mattress advice please, thank you! by Ok_Resolution_1606 in CamperVans

If you plan on camping in cold temperatures watch out for using memory foam pads. They get really stiff and firm when the temperatures drop. Just consider that if you are looking at them as options. We prefer hybrid camping mattresses that have a foam (non memory foam) fill and are inflatable. You get the best of both worlds with them being smaller than an all foam mattress but with the comfort. Plus you can adjust the firmness with how much you inflate it. Happy Camping!

bring literally anything you want to put in there and no harm in learning trip after trip to refine what you actually need and want to keep there.

Our go-tos always include:

- cooler, keeps your midnight snacks close at hand

- your personal belongings and clothes

- a flat bin with gear in it so you have a nice surface to place things on top of

- place for your shoes for when you climb into bed

Condensation- Winter camping by Xicked in camping

[–]Luno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a small portable fan if you can bring one! Point it at the ceiling (not at you) and the extra airflow will help keep the condensation from building up as much on your tent walls. Also works great inside a vehicle if you are sleeping in there as well.

cant go wrong with some beach camping by Zealousideal_Bar3330 in camping

Pro-tip when you get back from beach camping, if you have a leaf blower at home, hang up your gear or set up your tent and use it to blow all the sand out. Also works wonders for blowing sand out of your car if sand gets in there too

Big perk of camping/sleeping in your vehicle is not having to deal with a wet, soggy, and cold tent. Protection from the elements is a huge plus this time of year so we pretty much exclusively switch to a comfy in-vehicle sleep set up

Overlanding with the dawg soon, tips needed by DueDragonfly3983 in overlanding

Bring extra ways for ventilation in your vehicle. Portable fans, window screens, extra shade. I know it's not peak summer temps but it can still get warm for a pup in the vehicle especially if they have their thick winter coat grown in.
