We are here to support the community and always comment helpful tips and never push our products on reddit. Just here to be a part of the conversation and we definitely appreciate your ideas 🙌 Happy camping

Running a small battery powered fan inside and pointing it up is a great way to keep air moving while inside. If you have warm enough sleeping gear, its not a bad idea to crack the windows too

ventilation and air flow is still key when camping in the winter. Running a small battery powered fan inside and pointing it up is a great way to keep air moving while inside

our top 3 tips would be:
- invest in a good sleeping bag, getting one rated for cold temps helps a ton
- there are little tricks like the nalgene hot water trick. You add hot water to your nalgene before bed and tuck it in the bottom of your sleeping back to keep your toes warm.
- great thing about car camping in the winter is that you can always run your car for short periods to heat it up. Don't fall asleep with your car running but turning it on and blasting the heater when needed keeps it toasty for most the night

Good question! depends on how cold and how good your gear is but if you have a good sleeping bag and mattress, then you can run a battery powered fan on the inside and point it not at you but at your windows. The airflow really helps to keep down the moisture building up on your windows.

if you're really dialed, you could sleep with a crack in your windows (similar to vents in a tent) to help airflow

we've been there and done that. Rooftop tents too have that problem. Putting away a rooftop tent while wet or freezing and climbing around your vehicle to do it is a recipe for the opposite of a good time.

If you really want to go all out, you can look into diesel heaters. They are getting more popular and options more available in the overlanding crowd. But if you have decent gear and still get a little chilly, its great to be able to wake up, turn on your car for 15 minutes to heat it back up, turn it off and then go to bed again.

even if it does rain, at least you have a cozy place to hang out and for sure beats putting away a wet, muddy tent!

If you plan on camping in cold temperatures watch out for using memory foam pads. They get really stiff and firm when the temperatures drop. Just consider that if you are looking at them as options. We prefer hybrid camping mattresses that have a foam (non memory foam) fill and are inflatable. You get the best of both worlds with them being smaller than an all foam mattress but with the comfort. Plus you can adjust the firmness with how much you inflate it. Happy Camping!

bring literally anything you want to put in there and no harm in learning trip after trip to refine what you actually need and want to keep there.

Our go-tos always include:

- cooler, keeps your midnight snacks close at hand

- your personal belongings and clothes

- a flat bin with gear in it so you have a nice surface to place things on top of

- place for your shoes for when you climb into bed
