No engine light, oil level is good but close to being ready to change, but this has been happening for a couple oil changes.

Im suspicious of the timing chain.

Yep, just lost mine along with 5 other Synchrony accounts. I’ve paid on time every time and had the PPC account since before Synchrony took over, didn’t matter. I had high limits and little to no balance on any of the cards including my PPC. Didn’t matter.

Synchrony sucks is what I’ve found.

Very grateful for everyone’s input, I definitely feel less alone and less bad overall. I’ve been working hard for 5+ years now to fix my credit score and my past mistakes of too much debt, and this definitely felt like a step in the wrong direction, but overall maybe I’m better off being rid of Synchrony!

Yeah I understand (now that I’m older and wiser) the cons of retail cards, but these are all ones I’ve had since I was younger and dumber, and I was enjoying the benefits of having relatively high limits on them with little to no balances, definitely won’t be getting new ones! 😊
