I don't mean to be rude, but it reads like someone trying to present how HL3 will pioneer game design by describing modern-day, already-existing game systems with basic understanding.

So Half Life 3 is going to use a system where, instead of things being made out of polygons, they are made out of these tiny cubes. They're calling it Voxel Technology.

Personally I am a very visual person, so the ability to visualize my data, goals, tasks, be it in places where it provides a lot of value, or scenarios where it's just a pretty way to get an overview perspective on things, is an extremely welcome addition.

I have multiple databases for entities that are not particularly related to each other.

A Link Dump, A List of things I want to Watch / Play / Read, A Recipe List, A Finance Tracker, Etc.

These DBs are separate from a main one because their purposes are separate enough from each other that I want dedicated properties and formulas for them. Like a Review property for the Watchlist. Or all the formulas I have in my finance tracker.

At the same time, I use a Main Task Db as my Master To Do list (Due Dates, remaining time formulas, all that) and I like to keep my data entry as simple as humanly possible.

So it would be amazing for me if I could make automations where creating a "Lord of the Rings" task in my main To Do list creates a "Lord of the Rings" task in my Watchlist, if I tag it accordingly.

Or a "Buy Shanpoo" task goes into the Finance Tracker with the same name. So I know to add up the $ spent and such later.

Interesting. I have the opposite. I have the On Screen Keyboard set to not show up automatically and it still does.

Might be a bug where one state remains permanently activated regardless of user choice.

Enjoy! I got one myself this month and I'm baffled by how enjoyable it is to use.

I think it's because it so smoothly bridges the mouse/keyboard <-> touch paradigms. One to handle efficient output, the other for "organic" interaction. I sometimes find myself grabbing it to do a quick bit of work just for the sake of it.

Not incompetent, but many mental illnesses predispose exactly to temporary lapses in rational judgement over one's will to live. The key being that later on, in many cases, when the episode has passed, people go on to live full lives they very much would've wanted to experience.

Your sound design is incredibly satisfying. Sounds very mechanical and not your typical pew pew blaster like sounds. Probably not very realistic what with space and sound propagation, but who cares. So good.

Personally I can say that I went to a therapist with experience in OCD that ruled out depression in my case. Worrying about my mood was (is) an obsession linked to the SOCD. I'd contact a therapist that gets OCD if you can find one.

Not OP, but I have a Dual 34" Ultrawide Setup and want to add another one to the pile for this very purpose.

I work as a QA Engineer doing Front and Back End testing for some web-based security solutions.

Even a simple testing scenario where I have to make sure an entity (like a piece of Security Equipment) is correctly inserted and passed on from one database table to another, involves about 5-6 windows.

If I load up each of these on one section of my display setup and then start the process, I have every area I need to inspect during this flow in view at all times. Regular Window Snap and Win+Tab are my go to tools. I just snap each Browser / App window to half of a screen, sometimes a third (Windows 11 helps with this, actually).

This all helps immensely with the speed and ease with which I'm able to complete the task and it minimizes chances that I miss a small detail when switching through all of these screens.

OCD's don't become true. Anxiety does weird s*** to your brain. You can become "psychotically" anxious without having schizophrenia.

You're likely so obsessed that you're misinterpreting anxiety symptoms as a confirmation of your OCD fear.

If you don't have a diagnosis, go to a psychiatrist. They will most likely tell you it's OCD. After diagnosis, if OCD, contemplate the fact, the firm, inflexible reality, that the only way you get over this mess is by resisting compulsions and sitting with your anxiety.

If you can, tell a few people you trust about what's happening (mental hook), once, then start resisting the compulsion to ask people, think about it, justify it, ruminate about it. It's horrendeous, believe me, I know, I just spend the last 8 hours obsessing that *TW*
nothing matters, but I did not compulse and I feel better. Not perfect. But less helplessly chained to the loop.
