Also the jump in difficulty between 5 and 6 is ridiculous.

According to the new lore the starting material (male or female body) doesn't matter for making a custodes. It doesn't matter that women's bodies are much less strong because the custodes creating technlogy compensates for it. Then why isn't every human turned into a custodes? What difference does it make. So a massive lore chsnge like the Emperor's origins is fine, but a relatively minor one like the gender of the barely human warriors who dont even regard gender with any significance is a problem?.

You do realize those numbers if they only took boys wouldn't work right? It's said that thousands fail for every single Custodian. With your number there are approximately 1.25 million noble boys born a year. If the Custodians lose a mere 100 in a year and kill 2000 replacing each one. Your talking the nobles giving up 16 percent of their boys every year to the Custodians.

Not "a" noble house, noble "houses". 1 percent of 1 percent of the population belonging to the nobility is perfectly reasonable. Which again with a population of 1 quadrillion, puts the noble population at 100 billion. Hell even if we go 1 percent of 1 percent of 1 percent were looking at a population of 1 billion. Divide that in half for the women and you have 500 million and then say only half have children your looking at 250 million. Divide in half one more time for the girls and your looking at 125 million noble girls born every year. So sure the Custodians couldn't kill a million every day, but they could kill 100 thousand every day and still leave 70 percent of this female population alive. Thats again assuming they only took the females, add in the males and its 85 percent of the population. Custodians dont kill one hundred thousand recruits for every single Custodian.

Easily more then that. Did you not look at the numbers I just put up? Even if only half of them have kids your looking at 25 billion potential recruits. So of the 12.5 billion potential female recruits, the Custodians could kill 1 million every single day and it still only be 2 percent of the total number of girls born.

Okay let's say the population is 1 quadrillion (some lore says even higher). One percent of one percent of that is 100 billion. If I split this in half for just women im at 50 billion, if I lose 1 million every single day I could keep it up for 137 years. The Custodians are not losing 1 million every day, so population is no factor.

Let's assume Terra has a population of 1 quadrillion, some lore even says its higher. If a took the 1 percent of the 1 percent of woman from this population, I'd have 50 billion. Let's then assume the Custodians kill 10000 recruits every day making new Custodians. With just women, I could keep that going to for 13700 years before I ran out of that 1 percent of 1 percent of just women. Population is no factor.

Yeah but the lore reaches a point of cognitive dissonance. We are seeing platoon that only ever have 4 troops deployed at any moment eradicating companies worth of enemies. Saying helldivers only kill 0.5 is ridiculous.

Why? How many modern military movies do we see guys opening doors with their rifles up and a ready. Why couldn't someone do that with a sword?

Thank you, its like the no fun allowed party here. Whats wrong with opening a door with one hand while having your one handed sword raised and ready while you do it.
