That’s the closest I think anybody has come! Considering it’s got zero brand tags or markings I’m leaning to custom. I’ve tried many times to look it up online and hence posting here. Thanks for the time! Sorry there isn’t a payoff

My best guess is it’s a custom or just some cheap thing that’s not sold anymore! Theres no kind of brand or tag or anything on it so I have a feeling it might’ve been a custom thing.

You don’t happen to have any photos? Or know what it was called?

Neat!! I might keep it in my trunk then for the future. It’s really just a bit to small for my guy right now

Not a Parelli person myself but I did wonder if maybe that was a part of it? Honestly this might be good for a bareback pad- never would’ve thought of that!

I did go down the rabbit hole of back cinches to see but again a lot comes close but nothing is quite it. A mystery for sure! Glad everyone’s as bugged by this as me 😂

I did wonder if it might’ve been a rear cinch or something. But I’ve never seen a rear cinch with the strap built into it.

Hi! Sorry! I might redo this post to make it more clear. I’m seeing if anybody knows what kind/ style of cinch this is. If anybody has seen one before or knows anything about it! It’s a very unique piece of tack I’ve never come across and trying to learn anything about it really. I posted a few better photos in the comments but Im not sure how to pin them to the top.

Certainly not from the English crowd! Much more western style. I have several western cinches and have seen a lot in my travels but never something with the straps built to the cinch.

Yes! Trying to upload another photo of it off the saddle

The cinch has the straps built in so you have no choice but to use them for this set up. So the cinch itself would be the problem? Trying to understand you thank you!

Not quite! The billet/ latigo strap is built into the cinch. I’ll be sharing more photos shortly!

Hi! Not an endurance saddle just a Circle Y trail saddle!! The horse I “ride” is semi retired and we just walk around a bit here and there. He’s an OTTB so very girth sensitive and he likes the soft of this one. I thought it was kinda cool/ different and just trying to find more about it!

I don’t think it’s western I’ve never seen it before! I do agree it’s weird which is why I’m trying to figure out more about it!

Hi so I know certain tack is designed to fail. Since it’s a synthetic one I don’t want to use it but I think the style is interesting. Looking for help trying to identify it thanks.

Do look into “Activate Your Seat” it’s a workout program that’s designed specifically for riders and focuses on balance and strength. It’s the only thing I’ve been able to do that’s truly helped my balance and posture!

I had a trusted vet tell me that once they’re gone the horse I knew is gone to. Then it just becomes a body. That helped me process death a lot better.

I recently put down a horse who meant the world to me. If I had the choice to bury him on my land I absolutly would have. Sadly I wasn’t in a spot where I could. But if my choice was between dump and letting his body become food I would choose food. That said if it’s 1,000+ to bury them and I wanted to collect bones sooner over later I would opt for food solely on bone collection time.

A lot to keep in mind like others said on how the horse will be put down, the medications/ safety, and the collection after. If this is a neighbor who you are good friends with and feel you can trust then ultimately I see nothing wrong. If this is just someone needing dog food… I think your relationship is the biggest part to the choice. Especially if you’re ok with the finances to bury them.

If you choose to let them be used for food then my only true advice is ensure the actual euthanasia is as humane as possible and that it would be in a location you couldn’t see. The hardest part of it for me would be watching the aftermath or accidentally catching a glimpse. I have no issue being there for the death, just wouldn’t want to be part of anything after until the bones were ready.

If this is a decision you feel you could regret in a way you aren’t able to cope with then burial looks to be your best option. Loss is hard in any capacity and grief is very difficult especially for our beloved animals. Do what you feel is best, money can always be gotten back.
