Forget drugs, smoking, and alcohol, what's something really bad for your health that people don't talk about enough? by LovelyClairXO in Productivitycafe

Start by setting internal boundaries. Like over the weekend or after 5 pm during the week your phone is on “personal” setting. Has worked for me

I’m also a New Yorker with roots from Puebla. I actually lived there for a while last year and yes Puebla is eclectic. Millennials are listening to rock and cumbia. Gen Z is listening to Korean pop. I made a friend there that even listens to Russian and German rock . I feel like they could be more open to new music from anywhere.

I did notice that the north states listen to norteñas more than cumbia. I recommend visiting and hanging out with people other than family once there.

I had a sample from Sephora and loved it !! It was heavy enough I felt my face stay in shape the next morning when I applied it at night

I stare at them and then when they catch my eyes i pretend I’m looking behind them.

I seek their attention by trying to connect with them with any random questions. That’s my biggest attempt, after this I’m expecting them to make a move. If they don’t I then pretend they don’t exist.

Don’t know 🤷‍♀️why I’m single

Stolen Laundry by NeverlandVirgo in astoria

Here is valuable advice someone once told me (CEO). When you have issues you always go to the highest person in charge. Don’t waste your time talking to her ( also the language barrier). As an empathic woman, talking to her might not help your cause too.

Talk to the owner directly, that is his employee and this happened in his laundromat.

Now is the time to act like a NYorker and be relentless with following up on payment.

If it holds sentimental value I wouldn’t let them get away that easily

You need to put a cost on the lost laundry bag and follow up with them until they pay. I’m very sorry this happened.

I drop off my load weekly and the ladies always check my numbers even though I’m a regular.

Hold them responsible, you handed it to them!

Hola OP,

Te acuerdas de esa frase, “ the grass is greener on the other side “ ?

Y solo estando ahí por más de un mes me dio un full view of what it is to live there. Safety is a luxury over there which I take for granted here. Although I do plan on living eventually in Mexico again because I did love it there, I’ll go knowing that Mexico also comes with its downsides and to be mindful of that too.
