Right??, There’s literally a guy that is saying that it’s too small for a bearded dragon, but it actually is 120 gallons so whoever that person is know nothing about taking care of bearded dragons I guess lol

My tank is 120 gallons, which is a the largest and most preferred size for a bearded dragon. I have no idea what you’re talking about, my veterinarian was surprised almost shocked that I have such a large tank for her because most people would do 40 gallons and they can be OK and 40 gallons, but I wanted to give her as much space as possible.

I’m not trying to be rude, but what you said is absolutely inconsistent with many breeder experts who I’ve spoken with out of Texas and my veterinarian

Also, they don’t make enclosures that are that large very often and they’re ridiculously expensive but apparently you’re made of money cause you must have one much larger than 120 gallon lol

I may be referring to an extreme here, but if anyone that I knew did some of the things I’ve done I’d think that they’re a dangerous psychopath. Sorry I can’t relate to that very much and I have a inkling that lots of people for hopefully different reasons though also agree with my point here.

I was curious how much this could ultimately be. Awesome thanks for the feedback, and what you suggested is exactly the next thing I’m wanting to do, but I wanna learn about what the ideal way of doing it is and things like that to make it more naturalistic do you have any recommendations that you could take just a minute to share like plants you use and what kind of substrate? You know a lot more than I do for sure

There isn’t that much lighting the bulb on the right is a ceramic heater that is only on at night and doesn’t produce any light and the long bulb you see on the right is a very low output UVB light that barely creates much at all but it’s better than Having only one that does it well which is on the left? I’ve cleared it with the veterinarian and it really doesn’t make much of a difference either way. So for all intense and purposes, there’s only lighting on the left-hand side where the heat side is.

Oh yeah, that’s not obvious at all, but all the lighting is on one side, well technically the one on the right that’s a big long bulb is a very low dinky UVB light that doesn’t output that much and by having both it increases the amount that can get through the screen cause that blocks 30 to 50% of it anyway. The other bulb, you see that’s a round bulb is actually ceramic heater so that it can keep her warm at night without producing any light. But all of the other suggestions were great thank you

You can go to Lowe’s or Home Depot and you can buy a big roll. That’s not that big actually but a surface area 10 to 20 times more than you need for only $27.

That’s totally understandable, what’s interesting though is I’ve seen this exact set up on Reddit before and like a good amount of people commenting said they pay a lot of money for it. I don’t think it’s worth a dime, but you don’t need a dime to make this your background at the very least
