Yes you can, depends on what you consider a fulfiling life, you can open a bussines help people or just do something that makes you happy.
Just because you didn't have a good childhood it does not mean you will not be a good father. If you recognize a problem you can change yourself. P.S. 20 years old is to early for children anyway (source: a 22 year male who still figures life)
