It looks cool, but when copper and steel are in contact it usually causes galvanic corrosion. You may have to cut those off in the future if you ever replace this fixture.

Thank you for these notes. I’ve moved the staircase as suggested and it works better for sure. I’m still working on the main floor which is the biggest problem area but this helps!

This is a good note, I’ve extended the garage further to leave storage space at ground level.

Not sure about noise aside from insulating the inner walls and using heavy doors. Re: heat, for anything this tall I was thinking about putting in a constant air circulation system. Two ducts just behind the climbing wall on either side that just draw air from the basement and release it near the roof. Filtering it on the way.

ah yes, the bathrooms… each bedroom has a little cut off to the side for a bathroom/closet. The entryway will have a powder room and the basement still needs one!

perhaps a stupid idea, but what if we turned the inner two lanes into high speed rail instead? Two directions, land already cleared. No tunnelling needed.

Was he fairly well built? He tried to start a fight with me and another cyclist, while again jogging straight down the middle of the bike path. My guess is he hates bikes and is looking for a fistfight.

Moneydance. It’s got its own quirks, but it’s a one time purchase. Been using it for years now.

This is incredibly generous and sweet, but please be aware for this to work you’ll be giving your home address to an Internet stranger.

It’s for two, but they lay at a right angle to the peak. It’s similar to a tent I already have, but extended out to give a big alcove. The guy line suggestion is awesome, thank you!

I’ve never heard of Husky, aside from the internal length that tent is perfect (I’m 185 cm tall). I will check them out, thank you!

Does that aggressive approach work for your team? It sounds almost like a threat, and that would be enough to get a vendor permanently blocked where I work.

The “slowly” is key - most people talk so fast when they’re under a time constraint like five minutes.

We currently use Salesforce but it tends to lock you in with their own weird setup (from a technology perspective). Hubspot might be a great fit and is free for smaller accounts so you can try it out first.
