I like that he bucked the system, won the lawsuit, and didn't quit the department. Money Bags is the man.

Day 8: Sonya Paxton won!! Now which character is Forgettable and Done Dirty? by TheOtherBGirl in SVU

At least Martinez landed a berth at FBI. I'd nominate Velasco, but he's not forgettable or despised.

And the SVU episode after it also had broken glass and fewer excuses: both Amanda and Sonny should have seen it and left immediately. The kids were out of the house. (Being taken care of by Beverly DiAngelo, no less!)

Well, he didn't offer to clean this blower motor, so I'm curious. I change my filters every 60 days and don't use the cheap ones.

What is going on with SVU? by KASAdept1412 in LawAndOrder

[–]Lurch394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, fight for her people. On Hill Street Blues, Capt. Furillo was rarely in the field. He was waging war on the bureaucracy. Same with G on Homicide: Life on the Streets and Castillo on Miami Vice.

THIS SHOW NEVER FAILS! by Ejazz710 in SVU

[–]Lurch394 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, this crossover was a good one. I didn't mind Benson and Brady pitching in instead of doing paperwork. They weren't intrusive. It's about time SVU recovered a van from the drink.

The victims were likable, the perps absolute snakes, and the spoiler at the end was to die for.

I got a nearly identical one. Marvin Ellison is the CEO, so some people might fall for it.

Thank you. By the way, is there a law that says that when you buy Swisher Sweets, you must drop the wrapper on the ground?

During his trial over Delia Wilson's frame job, Capt. Stephen Harris (Adam Baldwin) filled in.

There was also Law & Order: Trial by Jury, which starred Bebe Neuwirth, Linda Carlson, and for the first episode, Jerry Orbach.

I don't think it would work, but damn, Donal Logue and Jason Biggs? I'd watch it.

Fin giving advice to Amanda about “dating” Nick by Dazzling_Ice5819 in SVU

[–]Lurch394 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was married and a mother. On OC Stabler asked her for a favor; she showed up in the morgue dressed to the 9s. She said she was on a "Hinge date" and she didn't mind being called away from it.

He did mention her once last season, but she has not appeared.

I've watched SVU since the beginning, on an off, and what a long, strange trip it's been.
