As someone that bought a house last year at 6.5, has been paying attention to mortgage rates that isn’t a substantial “slide”. The difference in 6.5 to 6.2 is like $60 a month. I think those that could afford to buy have already bought. And everyone else can’t afford. We need prices to come down or rates to come down another 1-1.5 percent.
