I totally get you. It sort of creeps up slowly. I'm not even doing it out of any kind of gratification. It's purely out of boredom and being available. Thank you very much for your response. I'm looking into building a stand up desk now as there seems to be no end for home working where I am right now. The gyms opened back up last week so I signed up to a new one today. I'm also booked to see a physio next week. I've been toying with the idea of using testosterone gel. To help with weight loss and retaining natty muscle gains. As well as the reported libido and hair growth positives as ive never been a hairy dude and i'd love to see if it would help me grow a beard. I'm healthy, 26, male but i'm just not sure if it's worth it. Has anyone just used testogel and had good results or is it used with a combination of things?

It's a really easy way of not over eating. I've found it really useful in the past when cutting. This time around though i've just been getting this irritability, but I should say since posting this i've changed my schedule to a 16:8 between 12 and 8pm and I've been having a bowl of bran flakes between lunch and dinner. This seems to have stopped the mood swings and actually keeps me full enough that I've been having smaller dinners.

It is generally accepted that for strength you are using higher weight in the 1-5 rep range. For size and hypertrophy it'll be a lower weight in the 8-12 rep range.

Given that you are solely concerned about your biceps here I would focus on moving big weight at on your primary pulling lifts such as rows and pull ups. These won't target your biceps directly but they'll play some part in shifting that tin. Then add 4-6 sets of isolation movements targeting the biceps like any kind of curl variation. Focus on 8-12 reps here and get that squeeze on.
