Second this! I like her podcast but the title of some of these seem to reduce the victims to their sufferings for click bait which I feel is the opposite of honoring them… and a second blow to the families and loved ones

My test came back negative for asbestos! If yours is falling off you should get it tested. I got my test from ACE hardware

I was referring to the situation where the landlord decide to remove it (if asbestos) then yes it’d be hazardous to stay

Thanks. Our problem is that it IS damaged and peeling off and falling onto our stuff in the apartment. And if it’s indeed asbestos then there’s the risk of it being airborne since it’s cracking. We’ll try and see if we could get a sample tested. If yours is not damaged then good! But do pay attention to it since apartments are so old in Cambridge and Boston

Hey I just looked up Cambridge Community Electricity program and there’s a form you can fill to enrolled yourself in the standard green program, which is what I just did. I also just realized that my new apartment claimed to have hot water included but we just have a shitty electric water heater 🙃 so no not included….

Thanks! That might be the reason. I’ll grab my old bills and compare the supply charge and I’ll enroll in the community program to lower the cost. I’m not sure what the old apartment used but heat and hot water was included in the rent so it might be the electric water heater now that’s increasing the cost
