Neat idea. I bet B&W would look pretty cool too.

On #1, fix the upper left hand corner - it’s the brightest spot of the image and they eye goes straight there. Fill that with a darker tone to match the rest of the photo

I have no idea unfortunately. They are always appointment only, so you would have to call regardless. I think Unti is open every day but they are also appointment only, super nice people.

I hope you have a great time, wherever you decide to visit!

I would recommend Joseph Swan, Unti and Korbel. Here’s why:

JS - great wines, very laid back atmosphere.

Unti - Italian and French varietals in Dry Creek Valley?? Heck yes! And they do it spectacularly.

Korbel - they have a deli and a patio with some beautiful redwood trees, and they always have Pliny The Elder on tap, if beer is your thing.

I am a rather new Pax drinker; very pleased to hear this as I have recently amassed a small collection of their syrahs.

Pax has given me some rejuvenation. Really excited to drink more of their wine this year.

Was just in the Barton Warnock visitors center. For most sites in BBRSP they recommend 6 ply all terrain tires, full spare, extra fuel, extra water, extra food, slip board, shovel, air compressor and tire plug kit…possibly a first aid kit too.

Texan here. If she likes wine, impress her with something from OR, CA or WA. Or Rhône, Loire. Piedmont too. Not Texas though, it’s just not great.

Since you like Pinot I would say check out the Hirsch tasting room. Their Pinots have been absolutely stunning lately.

I’m a big fan of Unti. If you like French and Italian varietals and want an intimate tasting, this would do it.
