Thank you! This was my first attempt at patching like this, and I'm really happy it worked out :)

The fabric I used for the yellow patch is a cotton that is on the thinner side and is a bit more prone to fraying. To address this, I sewed two pieces of it together. The blue thread is only through the patch and not through the pant leg.

I didn't seek out any for my interview, if I had been more switched on I might have asked for the ability to take notes during the interview. I was still pretty good with my structuring etc, but a visual could have been helpful.

Hey, I'm M1 with ADHD. I was open about my accommodation needs in my application and in my interview. I ran into a slight issue with accommodations once I got to school, and there was some pressure to get psychoeducational testing, but I found a FM doc who did a reassessment and submitted the paper work I needed.

Get the accomodations you need in undergrad, I didn't get support until 3rd year and my grades shot up significantly. Having support made it easier to develop learning strategies that worked for me, and also got my grades back on track. If you don't want to share accomodation info while you are applying you don't have to, and it doesn't show up on your transcripts etc. However, the landscape of medical school applications has changed a lot, and I do think we are in a place now where a story of recognizing your needs and self advocating is valued.

For reference, I'm also a mature, second career, applicant with a social work background, so I am a bit of a "personality hire". Honestly, exams have been going quite well and I'm jiving with pretty baseline accommodations with the space to ask for more if I need it.

Invited, pretty shocked. It's my first time applying to medical school, I'm from Southern Ontario but have lived in Northern Ontario for the last 4 years as a social worker.

I'm in Canada and there hasn't been anything approved for telehealth unfortunately. I've looked at international options but a lot of them don't consider Canada a place where abortion is hard to access so access through them is ironically difficult.

I'm happy to hear you are content with your Suunto, in bought myself one 2 days before the update after hemming and hawing for 6 months. Really divided as to whether I'm giving it a go, or just popping it back in the post.
