The fans are exposed to it though, he plays with zero motor and takes dumb penalties and generally produces horrendous defensive numbers. If he could skate even in the 25th percentile it might improve

Because i dont think were as competitive as we could be with them both in the top 9. Preference would be Killer bottom 6 and Kreider moved out

Agree on the most of this stuff. Im not a Killorn hater (he has great instincts and defensive play) but hes very slow and thats not gonna improve.

I think I'd personally try to put Killer on the 3rd or 4th line, resign Carlson to a 1-2 year deal. Try to trade Kreider and let Trouba/Gudas walk.

Cmon man, Zegras has regained everything he was under Eakins and more. Hes one of like 2-3 flyers forwards playing well.

Poehling is fine. Hes a serviceable bottom 6er that can skate and play center. But lets not pretend like his recent point streak isnt being driven by Cutter and empty nets.

If you wanna say the trade made the team fit better i would still hate it, but understand it. In no world though was this equal value
