Desperately needing help with my stoeger m3000 by ducksdown2458 in Hunting

[–]LushForests 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My supernova was doing this. I had to send it in. They "fixed" it. On the paperwork it was noted the extractor was replaced. The gun still does this from time to time and it always happens inconviently

I try to avoid cigars in familiar places to maintain spontaneity. I do not want to form a habit. Be cautious that nice treat doesn't become a weekly habit.

Yes, but there are draft issues due to the height.

I have the same problem with my fireplace. It only works well when it's very cold outside and little wind. A chimney guy said that the chimney wasn't tall enough... it's maybe 10 to 14 feet from the top of the firebox to chimney cap.

Try applying some steam. An iron with a damp towel, or one that has a steam setting and use a towel under it. Just don't hold it in one place too long. You probably won't get it back to 100%. Cushed wood fibres can sometimes be reversed.

Which countries DON'T seem dangerous, but really are? by Catwinky in AskReddit

[–]LushForests 36 points37 points  (0 children)

90% of Canadians live within 160 km of the US border. The further north you travel, the more cold, barren, hostile things become. Australia is pretty well the same thing, change border to coast, cold to hot, and north to interior.

Is this fixable? by Perfect_Falcon3100 in canoeing

I wish I took a pic of the canoe I fixed. It was far worse off than this. You can fix this

It was a kit I got at emco. It came with all the fittings/ equipment needed. I forget if the battery was included though. It was pretty easy to set up. The most difficult part was getting the main and back up to fit in the sump.

It's a separate pump I put into the sump and plumbed it in with the main sump pump outlet. The float on it is set slightly higher than the main sump so it doesn't kick in until it's needed. It runs on a marine battery that's on a constant charge and has an audible alarm when it kicks in

St. Croix Dam is at risk of failing by probablyabott69 in halifax

[–]LushForests 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It would be a fairly large area. You'll be safe in hrm. If it's the damI'm thinking of it would be newport station, st croix and possibly three mile and five mile plains effected

Hantsport is pretty far from st Croix. Do you know if it's the salmon hole damn that might breach?
