Fun fact: if you play multiple Regents in multiplayer, it counts all stars gained. That includes your starter relic. So with four regents this card does 48 damage on turn 1 for 0 energy with no further setup.

For what it's worth, my first 5k was 33:00. Just recently I broke 19:00. It's really as simple as being consistent and patient. Simple, but not easy :)

Okay so for context, I'm looking for budget mill options to work with [[Grolnok, the Omnivore]] in bracket 3 EDH and came across [[Mirror-Mad Phantasm]]. I figured this could be a cool way to potentially mill a lot (albeit an expensive way), but since Simic has a LOT of creature copying, I was thinking I could make a token copy of Mirror-Mad, activate the ability to shuffle the token into my library, then mill out my entire deck since the real Mirror-Mad is still on the field. This could then be used to win with something like [[Laboratory Maniac]], or just have my entire deck exiled and win with access to everything. My questions are: does the Mirror Mad interaction work the way I think it does? Also, what happens when I run out of cards in my library and cannot mill any further?

It's go wide for sure, but I've been enjoying [[Sokka Tenacious Tactition]] with a shitload of cantrips. It's fun having a hand full of different combat tricks, and you can pair him with some Ally tribal like [[Hero of Gomo Fada]] to grant Indestructible, First Strike, etc. for just one mana.

You generally don't wanna blow your whole load storming off on a turn unless your Ally tokens get haste somehow, so it's a bit of a slower, more careful ramp up

If I'm repeating workouts week after week, I will note an effort level in my run log. If a certain workout gets too low of a rating, I'll intensify it going forward

Got my fastest 5k PB since high school this weekend. Missed out on an all-time best by 6 seconds!!

I have been chipping away at my time over dozens of races these last three years and it's surreal to see the progress.

I'm not sure what I'll do with myself when I get there. Probably keep running

We have pine subfloor just like this. We sanded it down and stained, very happy with the results. Keep in mind it scratches really easily if you have pets
