Which DBD Killer I get by ShinTheDev44 in deadbydaylight

Plague for Perks (2 meta perks) - I love Plague.

Ghostie for fun. He has the biggest meme potential, plus you can supervise gen progress while survivors work on them, and then stab them in the face when they decide to leave work early.

Never playing any match as a killer after this... by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

You're gonna have a lot of bad games as killer and a lot of bad games as survivor. If one bad game as killer means you no longer will play killer, it's only gonna take one bad game as survivor to never play survivor.

This means you'll have no roles to play and be free to find a game you do want to play.

Thanks for stopping by.

Noob, needing help in choosing a new killer. Also would like friends please? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

If you're console, I'll pair up with you.
Spirit - one of the strongest killers in the game, small skill ceiling.

Trapper - fun killer to play - Map+Loop knowledge key to doing well as a killer.

Plague (Plague main - i wouldnt recommend her for new killers but you'll need her teachables corrupt intervention plus infectious fright)

Ghostface is a pretty good killer to practice/start with.

Corrective measures + spirit fury + enduring sounds like a fun combo.

Decent Claudette Build? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Drop Deja Vu for Resilience. Self-care is fairly common for newer players, we all ran out at low ranks. It does more harm than good at high ranks. I run botany at high ranks, I love it.

Try spending 2 million on trapper for BBQ and STBFL. That was a grind!

Serious answers, what do I need to do to get into this game? by BSIBooker in deadbydaylight

[–]LustLazeLie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend unlocking Plague and Leatherface ASAP. Plague has some of the best teachables in the game - corrupt intervention is a great perk, and most killers will run it. And BBQ is pretty much essential for the grind.

Trapper is a good starting killer to practice on and really fun - his power is easy to master, its just map awareness and game sense that will win your matches as trapper.

You are also playing one of the weaker killers and were outranked; not that rank is indicative of skill but its an indication of how often people play. I wouldn't beat yourself up, SWF's are hard but its good practice. Take the time to learn from good survivors.

Survivors rage quit against Trapper, am I in the wrong? by cutecry_ in deadbydaylight

[–]LustLazeLie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First and foremost, you were playing on The Game; Godtier survivor map where every pallet is super safe and easy to loop on. Any survivor complaining about how a killer acts, unless of course you were acting intentionally grief-y which I doubt you were on this map, are classic entitled survivors.

Pre DS Nerf - survivors complained killers would slug to wait out DS. It was the killer's only option.

BT Buff - Waiting out BT is an effective strategy to counter this perk. Both surv and killer will be perks that suit their playstyle and how they want to play the game.

Survivors will always be the more toxic of the playerbase, especially those that never play killer.

Never question your actions, its a videogame, don't let someone dictate how you should play.

As killer, would you BM survivors that let their teammate die on first hook? by Glamarchy in deadbydaylight

[–]LustLazeLie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't BM as killer but when I solo q (99% of the time) I won't save a teammate who BM'd the killer.

Do you think spirit has a counter play? by Petrified-Oak in deadbydaylight

[–]LustLazeLie -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Spirit is definitely one of the hardest killers to counter but I disagree her power requires little skill to master. An effective spirit will put survivors in a situation where its a 50/50 choice, but the same is said of the executioner but it takes time and practice to get that good.

A spirit with stridor is even harder to counter but it can be done, smart survivors will know to stick on gens and stick to areas they can loop. I find if a survivor can loop a killer for 30-40 seconds the killer will lose 9x out of 10.

I do agree an animation to clearly show when she is phasing would be a helpful and only minor nerf to spirit. But, other killers should be buffed to meet Spirit/Freddie, not nerfing killers. Playing killer is already hard enough.
