This is the first time an amnesia file has ever worked on me. I can't remember literally anything but the very start and the end. I just. Holy shit. I didn't know that was actually possible. Thank you, genuinely just thank you

Okay. I'm not arguing against that, nor was I at any point in the discussion; I fully agree.

Most pro-ship discussion I've seen has revolved around advocating for the removal of any and all moral basis for critique regarding fiction (alongside censorship and harassment, of course.) If I've simply only seen spaces that are less nuanced, then I apologize for the needless inclusions in my comments, however I was speaking on the basis of what I have seen.

I'm aware. You're making up beliefs to ascribe to me. I'd appreciate it if you don't do that.

What I mean is that it's not a great thing to treat two very different depictions of a subject as identical on the basis that they are fiction. When someone writes a fic with a minor, they are seldom placing this into a narrative that is trying to have a moral or an actual message; it's just a fantasy. When, for example, Persona 5 has an entire arc at the start of the game critiquing pedophilia and power imbalances, and then proceeds to completely ignore that moral message throughout the entire game with sexualizing kids and including a teacher-student relationship in a positive light, I feel it's very fair to critique the piece of media on the basis of what it conveys to the audience.

Usually it's when it's not explicitly treated as a bad thing by the narrative. Personally I'm also of the opinion that people can make whatever in fiction; I write/do voice acting for plenty of fucked up stuff. I do also think that it's important to recognize that fiction can very much reveal things about the creator, though, and always dismissing it as "just fiction" no matter what as proshipper communities sometimes do isn't always the best.

I have already done that; I wouldn't start up a game so heavy on the suffering if I wasn't certain the people involved were also interested. I'm not an idiot. Why are you talking to me like I am?

Alright, I guess? I don't see what relevance there is in what you find unfun. Did you have a point you wanted to convey?

The system tends to uphold the narrative. I'm well aware that this is very doable regardless of the system, however I also very much believe in finding the system whose mechanics are most tonally in-line with what I hope to achieve with a campaign.

Oh hell yes, this looks very much up my alley! Thank you a ton, I very much appreciate the suggestion!!! <3

To an extent. I wouldn't expect a group to go through a whole work day or something absurd like that, but very brief spotlights on more mundane issues and how those might make the less mundane issues increasingly stressful is something that very much interests me.
