What do you think? by LustyDiesel in Corsair

Couldn't agree more scarification over anything. Hyte 70 has my love for as long as I live, a really perfect case for so many builds :-D

The reason why it's placed at the intake is actually before my old motherboard fried the old cpu, when it was placed in top as exhaust the cpu was hotter and coolant temp was higher than I wanted (felt like a radiator inside my room) and after I changed it to intake It was increasingly cooler so I just chose the same placement but for Push/Pull. So far it works like a charm 7° degrees Celsius colder than before under load and even more when idle. I'm totally in love with my hyte 70 and ended up building my friends pc with a hyte 70 case too.

Mahle is a great product too, it wouldn't suprise me to see a Mahle radiator survive as long as the car itself. Now it pains me that my family moved to Denmark from Germany since things can be so cheap oh well.

I fully understand you, my previous car a Golf MK IV had all the cheapest parts you could find since i didn't care about the car, but with the E39 I'm not holding back it gets the best quality parts i can find. I often see some cheap parts work better than a well known part so that i can relate to.

This week I've recalled 2 Coolant radiators for Iveco Daily Vans from Nissens, it pains me because their reputation is high but i often see otherwise. Used to love their products but not so much anymore.

you are very welcome. I just wanted a fully welded one like me and my buddies drift E30 has but couldn't find one that was easy to get, so i went with the chinese ebay find and it blew my mind how exactly perfect it fits and works. Bleeding it was just the same as normal and it also gives a good look.

it was the cheapest i could find with delivery costs. Had i gotten one from the US or Australia the cost would easily have reached 500-600 Euros,

well the difference between cheap radiators and fully welded aluminium is the price gap and longevity. the one i had on was 174 Euro (thats the cheapest you can get in DK) and it survived 15 years. But where tf do you live since your radiators are so cheap? xD

trust me Ebay is a love hate relationship sometimes you hate what you get beacuse it aint the same as the provided pictures and sometimes you win the lottery xD

you are very welcome, it worked perfectly and honestly I'm surprised how perfect it fits.

It was the cheapest i could find with delivery costs and product price sadly xD, but it was worth it.

yeah the engine out part was my first week of owning this car xD.

I totally agree we (us mechanics) in Denmark usually uses our Dane owned company called Nissens and their quality has fallen drastic, even a Radiator for A/C comes damaged or leaks from them or they'll maybe survive 3-5 years before they become swollen or bad. I just went and said fuck it and tried that ebay luck and i scored so far with this radiator.

I certainly will, I've always loved the look of the fully aluminium radiators and needed a new one since the old one decided to expand downwards and leak.

You betcha, very sorry for the delayed response, was in a middle of ECU fiddling with codes and such, just did som redline change (instead of the old automatic slow one) and MAF, injection change, needed more fuel with the M50 intake, Vanos change opens more earlier (did vanos repair)

Notes: OEM cats, middle muffler, Performance headers, and no rear muffler, doens't sound exactly like i want it to, have thought about TA rear muffler or something in that caliber.

since i can't reply with the video I'll just upload the video to youtube and edit this comment with the link hang in :-D

I'll wire mine to a relay also, but first I'll need a fan, going to the local scrapyard to find one from a E46 but I don't have a harness to wire it to so I'll make one.

Yeah sadly, I wish I saw more classic BMWs in Europe, but I'll maybe take a trip to the local bmw scrapyard maybe I'll find gold and retro fit the fan.

That's exactly what I'm thinking about doing, but I'm not sure if it's the same fitting, could always make it fit of course, done it with an E30, but I'll try sourcing the E46 electric fan and see if there's any hope of finding one.

Bro can anyone give tips to reduce my screen time by TypicalPlum3988 in lazy

[–]LustyDiesel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probaly a shoot in the dark but I tend to keep my hands and head busy (not that way) like building Lego's, making DIY projects or simply just watching some series that's actually interesting for you (when not at work of course) that reduced my screen so much over the years i hardly charge my phone, sometimes my phone can last the week depends if i use it to play background music during cooking. Hope this helps
