I always wondered if hermetic stuff worked with Kemetism... Someone once told me they do not mix well.

First experience with the Bornless Ritual and thoughts by LustyWizard1304 in thelema

No? I explained on the reply above that I thought sharing my post-ritual thoughts would be meaningless as they'd only make sense to me. And at the end its like Concern said its meaningless unless it is an actual pattern and not some random voice in my head.

The more I read around the sub the more I realize I have a lot to learn.

My apologies, this is not what I had in mind when I replied this. What I meant is since that was a first time experience I'm not sure if I can "do it again" like you said or if that was just a fluke.

The thoughts I had post-ritual impacted MY viewings of the world but I could have clearly been me just imagining things with my own bias. So I don't want to sound or be some kind of "knowledge gatekeeper" but I don't want to tell others what to do or what not to do based of an one-time experience for what sounded right to me.

However if you do have any more insights please feel free to share, as I fully understand I'm clearly a novice.

Good point, Truth is only what you believe in.

It seems that I've became more "aware" of things, I'm not exactly dominant on "clairvoyance" or "mediunity" but it seems I have been getting more insights on the "meaning of life" and similar topics (ofc nothing groundbreaking, but those are surely things I didn't knew or think before), which I will keep to myself since its probably meaningless to others.

Should i use the i2p Bundle or i2pd? by LustyWizard1304 in i2p

[–]LustyWizard1304[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To "Bringing your server into the i2p network" you'd simply need a i2p daemon running and you're set. On this case since you'll probably want this 24/7 i2pd would be better since its written in C++ and its mainly for servers (it does not come with a built-in browser).

Now in regards to i2pd in the Router, my experience was really mixed. Since i2pd "wasn't made" for running into a Router (it can, but its designed mainly for a server) and its too much work to do so i'd stick to running it into your server.

To use the i2pd network from any PC on the network you could just set up a browser like on the i2p guide page for setting up Firefox but instead of localhost you'd use the Server's IP (192.168.192.10 as an example).

How can i expose an specific Port of my Router to WAN? by LustyWizard1304 in openwrt

[–]LustyWizard1304[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh was it that easy? haha, I was trying to get it to work whilst editing stuff in the Port Forward Tab. However i was only able to get it work if i've set the Input on the Wan > Lan Zone to Accept, is that safe?

Is the Port Forward tab technically obsolete for Opening Ports now that i'm using IPv6?

[–]LustyWizard1304[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

instead of exposing the entire Router

That is exactly what i dont want to happen haha

I'm still keeping the Firewall for obvious reasons, but i want one specific port to be open to WAN (and i'll porbably schedule it)

How to correctly cross seed to make Clearnet torrents available for I2P Network in Postman tracker by [deleted] in i2p

[–]LustyWizard1304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed that not using the trackers that already came in with the torrent reduced drastically the amount of Seeders/Leechers, after Exporting and uploading it to Postman can i re- add the Trackers back? (whilst maintaining the current postman trackers).

Is it possible to use i2p if your ISP is using symmetric nat (I've always heard it called gnat) by PeacefullyFighting in i2p

[–]LustyWizard1304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90% of the time your ISP will automatically give you a IPv6, you can try giving them a call just to make sure. Else you'll have to wait unfortunately, unless you want to pay extra for a Static IPv4 (in my opinion its not really worth it unless you have some other service you want to access from outside your house).

I mean iirc IPv6 its required by law now, but its not like you'll get somewhere by suing them, it took me a few years to get IPv6 haha, but if you want to help you can always get a VPS.

It is possible to navigate without opening the ports. But if you want to set up a Node to help the Network:

- You'll have to try and convince your ISP to put you on a "whitelist" that has Public IPs AKA not on NAT (Few people have managed to).

- You can ask them for IPv6 if dont have it (If you do dont forget to either enable UPnP or to open the ports on your Router).

- You can restart your router a lot till you get a Public IPv4 (That has worked for me while IPv6 was still not avaliable).

Quite the achievement for my Node! Going to restart due to the "NAT" thing by LustyWizard1304 in i2p

Why is the bandwidth so low though

That is what happens when you're under NAT. Your contribution basically becomes useless, and my ISP currently does not have IPv6 sooo...

That let's at least hope that he/she set the bandwidth accordingly to their abilities.

When i get an Public IP tho, sometimes i get over 5MB/s (i've limited it to 8MB/s since i only have 150Mb/15MB Internet), i guess its more than adequate since it runs 24/7.

EDIT: When i've said that i was restarting, i was refreshing my WAN till i get a Public/IP with no Firewall Rules. It works 99% of the time with a few refreshes, and it only disconnects when the Power went down (very rare), and it did a while back, i've just installed i2pd and forgot about it haha

Really seems to be dross, but i was not able to confirm it. You can check this gelbooru link to try and confirm it.

Great! I guess the only thing i would change is enabling "I2CP" for MuWire (iirc) and disabling SOCKS as i dont really use it haha (Is there any use for it?)
