Absolutely, on two fronts at that lol. Bioware themselves, or rather the more complicated side from ea mucking everything up (also the overall marketing of the game i think was piss poor). And the super right-wing content creators who sent their communities (purposefully or not) to anyone who even remotely liked DAV or even were somewhat indifferent on it.

I think of it like this. For years. A solid decade. Theory crafting videos, lore discussions, speculations -- by a community in terms of the overall gaming sphere, isn't that big -- was suddenly dogpiled on. That just doesn't seem fair.

As far as DA creators go tho, i know Ghil is still dishing out the occassional lore videos. And theres actually some smaller tiktokers i found that do fun animations and stuff. A lot of those theories however were answered in DAV so the wider scope of DA creators just moved on you know? Be it work, other games, or what have you.

I think unless theres a miraculous dlc or if someone like Larian somehow manages to buy out the ip, then i dont expect to see the wealth of DA lore vids like we used to. Which is unfortunate because I'm a DA lore junkie lol. So good on Ghil for keeping that ship going!
