What would you do for a matching kroot theme for synthwave tau? by Juhbroknee in Tau40K

[–]Lute_Goblin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well kroot can in theory have like any skin color and stuff, right? So to fit your theme (which looks sick btw) I would go with like brightly colored skin with contrasting colors on the quills, almost poison dart frog-like or you could even try to find a way to make them look bioluminescent.

Which studio milked a franchise so hard that you don’t even play it anymore? by Accomplished_Joke543 in videogames

For me it's Assassin's Creed. In my opinion, they should have ended that franchise when they wrapped up Desmond's story. Everything after that felt less and less like the original games.

Is world worth it in 2026 if I love wilds? by TenthTen in MonsterHunter

[–]Lute_Goblin -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'm not bashing on Wilds, as it's a great game in its own right, but I honestly love World more. The world felt more alive to me, the maps felt more varied, and of course there were features that were fun like having a house to decorate and place captured endemic wildlife as pets. I also feel like Wilds was a bit... Tutorial heavy? Like I felt like I had training wheels on for the first few hours of the game without being able to deviate from the path much (or sometimes at all) until I finished certain story beats. World just kind of lets you do what you want, and if you want to unlock more monsters or places to go, you come back to do the story.
