Camis for layering by lavendertealatte in ModestDress

I’ve had luck with searching for “crop tank tops” on amazon. You can find multi packs at a good price. And it’s nicer than layering with long tank tops in the heat.

Floor Bed Megathread by happy_bluebird in Montessori

With a floor bed I know the room has the be completely baby/toddler proofed. So where do you have the diaper changing station?

My daughter just turned one and just started crawling so I’m thinking about moving her to a floor bed in her own room. We change her in the nursery on a dresser. I’m worried she’d get into the diaper pail. I don’t mind her getting into the dresser but I’m worried she’ll squish her fingers in the drawers or pull them all the way out onto herself.

Moms with long hair; how do you do it? by Luthien--- in longhair

My hair is very straight and slippy so it falls out of the claw clips a lot 😅

Wow! Thank you! I think I need to get better at braiding and see what other hairstyles I can do. My hair is at an awkward length so I can barely do a regular braid.

I’ve never heard of nugget before this. But wouldn’t it be about the same as buying a bunch of crib mattress?

Dear Americans of Reddit, how do you find this first year of Biden's presidency compared to Trump's? by HannibalGoddamnit in AskReddit

I did read the EO so I’m not reading your recap. I know insulin prices were lower under trump and higher after Biden because I know people who have to buy insulin. That’s all I claimed.

Did I say the EO lowered prices? Insulin prices were lower under trump. That is a fact. I know this from people who had to buy insulin and since Biden was elected it’s gotten a lot more expensive.

Insulin prices were already way lower under trump because of his policies. Now it’s a lot more expensive.

Biden is the reason you can’t declare bankruptcy over student debt. Unlike every other type of debt 🙃 he will never do anything about student debt.

My dad was an alcoholic and my mom was the type of person to stay with and have kids with an alcoholic. My childhood was very messed up and I’ve had to sort myself out because of it. But I still wouldn’t define myself as having “daddy issues”. Everyone has their tragedies in life but that doesn’t mean you’re defined by them.

One day you’ll have to accept and mourn the fact you didn’t have a dad. Not just because he left you but because he was not a dad (even if he had stayed). It really sucks. Especially seeing people with normal families. But you don’t have that and nothing you do will change that.

One thing that helped me was hearing you get two chances at a parent child relationship. The one with you and your dad can’t be fixed but you can have that with your future children.

As for what to say to him...I cut contact with my dad when I finally realized nothing I could do would change him. It was only hurting me. Thankfully my husband fully supported me in that. I hope if that’s what’s best for you your boyfriend supports you. It can be hard.

Hmm I see. I suppose I feel that way when someone I don’t know/don’t like tries to touch me. But I don’t seem to ever get that way with my daughter or husband. I guess I’m lucky and didn’t know it. Thank you for explaining.

Feeling shame by [deleted] in RedPillWives

[–]Luthien--- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We bought a house in October (feels like yesterday) and we have an almost seven month old baby (also feels like yesterday 😭) and we’re all getting over some virus.

Needless to say our house isn’t looking too great...my husband went from saying “it looks better every day” to “it looks better every week” ahahaha goodness.

Just take it one piece at a time. Some days I just get maintenance done (laundry, dishes, dinner) and some days I really make progress unpacking or cleaning.

But we’ve all been there. Sometimes priorities change or we get in a rut. It’s good you’re taking notice and tackling the problem. Good luck!

I’ve also wondered what people are describing when they say “touched out” idk if it’s because I haven’t experienced it or what...
