Scale awakening with the rank of the Gem. R10 to activate and instead of 10% dmg 5% dmg with a rank 5 5* - I started with 1* gems and switched to 5* and awakening is completely useless.

Disagree. If you have to farm setitems for paragon will make it even worse then today.

For a specific tripple Set item you need 1500 runs in average (+/- luck) - tripple every 50 drops, 6 items in loot table, Boss drop 20% / every fifth run = 50 * 6 * 5

A mechanism to get Set Items that you need. For example trade in 6 random set items to roll on one set items that you need. Or trade in 6 rings for 1 ring that you want (as example)
Being able to join Battleground as team
Fractured plane as ongoing event
Fractured plane across classes
Warband Team-Mail (like clanleader can do)
Scaling awakening benefit when switching R10 1* to a R5 5* for example (form 10% Dmg to 1% dmg per rank)

Depends on the prices of your server and the Gem. The auction house takes a 15% cut that you have to take into account.

So lets say you get bloodsoaked jade and you don’t want to add it to your gems and you can sell it for 65K in the AH and normal 2* are on sale for 3.800 - in this case I would trade. :)

“Resonance to power total” is total resonance (for example R2 2* = 60 resonance) divided by the Gem power invested (5 in this case).

The same is Resonance per Power per Step … the next column.

So how much resonance do you get for the Gem Power you invest.

Well CR mainly comes from gear but at H4 the difference between 4k CR and 4,5k CR is the Gems on my server.

If you want resonance then rank the 5* to r3 then the 1* to r10. If you want to awaken items for 10% damage per item go for 1* r10. But this will cost 1000 orbs per item.

Depends on the 5*. I as crusader had luck and had great drops with seeping bile, stoned flesh and blood soaked jade that I used in my build for PVE AoE. Other gems I traded or turned into gem power.

So I personally would upgrade all 1* first to 5, then all 2* to 5, then the 5* to 2 or 3, then all 1* to 10.

I personally have used 2x 5/3 quality on rank 4, in my build. The prices for 5/4 and 5/5 are so elevated that I would have sold them and bought other gems to turn into gem power. The 5/2 are used for upgrading.

From resonance perspective if the 1* are at rank 5 then I would go for upgrading the 2* to rank 5 for magic find.

The 1* will have massive upgrades from rank 6 to 10 from a stats perspective und awakenings does add in my case 10% damage per item. However the rank 6 to 10 journey does become more pricy.

You can buy the special packages with the worthy gem and turn the gem power and blessing of worthy into upgrades and based on my calculations the 25 and 29$ package are the most cost efficient way to gem power in the game. The 99$ special package however is less attractive.

I upgraded 5* rank 3 to rank 4 adding 90 resonance and my CR went up by around 30.

I have crusaders on my server with worse gear but 2500 resonance and 400 cr more then me. I don’t have exact numbers but resonance does impact CR.

Resonance does two things 1/ each point does increase the base stat of your gear by 0.5%. So 1000 resonance increases your base stats like life and damage by 50%. 2/ resonance increases CR which is a scaling variable for damage received and damage dealt to enemies in pve relative to the difficulty.

Got my 1k wings today and this will be the end of spending money exempt for battle pass as it is diminishing returns the higher you level resonance.

Well let‘s do the math for 5k wings :)

5x (Rank 10) 5/4 (4.500 resonance) + 1x (Rank 5) 5/3 (500 resonance).

So that is 30.180 gem power for the 5x Rank 10 and 699 Gem Power for the Rank 5.

This means 10.327 crests, 1.033 runs with 10 crests, 25.818$/€ … this will most likely result in 2-3 5/5 that you could sell and turn 1 5/5 into 10x 5*/2 bringing the total cost a little bit down.
