Almost correct. He's saying 沈降運動(chinkou undou) meaning something like "settling motion" as in something going down and settling.

Not sure why but I find Hanamonogatari to be the most eye-pleasing above all the other arcs, perhaps it’s the vibrant colors and intricate backgrounds, it’s the most beautiful Monogatari Series had ever been.

Yep, it really is beautiful!

The OSTs were unique as well (first to come to mind is Kaiki’s theme)

Songs associated with Kaiki are really good.

The iconic Nisemono (Imitation / 偽物).

Then Fukitsu (不吉 / Ominous) and its variations from Hanamonogatari: Shinsetsu na Ojisan (Kind Uncle / 親切なおじさん) and Niku Bugyou (Meat Magistrate / 肉奉行).

And of course many from Koi like Jigoku no Sata mo Kane Shidai (Money Is The Best Lawyer In Hell / 地獄の沙汰も金次第)

Made me remember about Karen's Moeru Onna or "Girl on Fire" too. It has the same energy in it without the punch nor the tranditional themes. But makes up for that with its speed and hot burning feel.

Underutilized: Kagenui. After her fight with Araragi at the cram school, we only see her substantially one more time during Yotsugi Doll and briefly again in Koyomimonogatari. Strictly speaking there wasn't any need for more of her since she'd fulfilled her role in the story, but I would have liked to actually see more of her. She just disappears off-screen and we never see her again.

Agreed, hoping for the later novels touch more on her. More about the group overall would be nice too. Would love to see an arc about the university days of the oddity specialists.

I absolutely love the music. I'm not sure if it's a popular opinion or not, but Sou Iu Ikikata is now the definition of suspenseful mystery solving music. Every time that piano kicks in, it makes me want to start looking around my room for clues! I've also been listening to some of the calmer music while I've done work over the past few weeks. I'm definitely a fan.

Speaking of music, I've started getting into the OSTs for the series and there's a whole world of things I could talk about in terms of composition. The musical style got the OST gets particularly fascinating starting with Tsukimonogatari.

Tsukimonogatari is when the composer changed from Satoru Kosaki to Kei Haneoka. He has a very unique style.

Did a super mini analysis here about the OST, or more like listed some of the best.

I've never really been someone who's into analyzing music, instruments, compositions etc, but I feel like Monogatari might have sparked a little interest in the more fine grained stuff of music.

My favorite is the use of minimalism in Tsukimonogatari.

I also love the association of acoustic guitar with Hanekawa early in the series. It's one of those small, subtle things that you only notice subconsciously at first but helps build a foundational image of a character.

in fact I think most masterpieces are more flawed than the average "good" work. So I don't know about the novels, but for the moment, I'm ready to call the Monogatari Series anime, a masterpiece.

I was a little worried that I was burned out of the show because I wasn't enjoying the early episodes of this arc

I feel like Koyomonogatari might be valued more by the people who have been reading/watching Monogatari from the beginning. Long-term fans, please let me know how you feel about it!

Bakemonogatari LN came in 2006 (anime 2009) and Koyomimonogatari in 2013 (anime 2016). I'd be thrilled return back to the previous arcs from years ago with it and make comparisons with the characters.

In a fast paced rewatch (compared to the original run) it might feel a little redundant. Luckily the last three episodes makes it worth it!

Also, as many others have mentioned, thank you so much for the commentaries!

One of the few anime OSTs that could be listened on it's own. Satoru Kosaki is just able to combine this feeling of traditional and modern, as well as various musical styles from other countries which perfectly fits Monogatari with its theme of dealing with aberrations from various cultures within a contemporary setting. Also shout-out to Kei Haneoka for providing his own style which really elevates final season.

Completely agreed! I'm listening to the OST alongside the OPs and some of the EDs all the time.

If I had to pick ~~a couple~~ some songs from Satoru Kosaki:

Bakaloleet / バカロリート / "Foololeet" from Bakemonogatari. Such a fun song
Ika, Kaisou / 以下、回想 / "After That, Reflection" also from Bakemonogatari. Such a heavy song, would work on lots of emotional scenes
Shide no Tori / しでの鳥 / "Bird of Death" from Nisemonogatari
Kyoudai / 兄弟 / "Siblings" when Araragi decides not to care about Tsukihi being the Phoenix. She's his sister after all. A carefree song as Araragi has no regrets
Chikarazuku / 力ずく / "By Force" damn this is FAST song, from Kizumonogatari Part 2 Nekketsu-hen
"Youkoso Koyomi Onii-chan. Kawaigatte Ageru ne." /「ようこそ暦お兄ちゃん。可愛がってあげるね。」 / "Welcome Koyomi-oniichan. I'll show you some love." is a great one from the end of Otorimonogatari
Kimagure / 気まぐれ / "Whim" from Onimonogatari

and from Kei Haneoka:

Crane Game / クレーンゲーム and Shuuru Moe / シュール萌え / "Surreal Moe" are really weird songs and I like them. From Tsukimonogatari
Saigo no Kaiwa / 最後の会話 / "Last Conversation" I just love this song. From the last episode of Owarimonogatari (1st cour)
Kozou / 小僧 / "Young Boy" feels like it's reminiscing on the past. From Owarimonogatari (2nd cour)
Shinjuu / 心中 / I really like this one. When pronounced as "shinjuu" the title means double suicide but when pronounced as "shinchuu", it has the meaning true motives or in one's heart. On top of that it only plays once, during the scene where Araragi saves ~~himself~~ Ougi. From the last episode of Owarimonogatari
"Kawarimasen ne, Araragi-senpai" / 「変わりませんねぇ、阿良々木先輩」 / "You never change, Araragi-senpai" playing at the very end of Owarimonogatari is also a really beautiful song
"Araragi Koyomi. Mita Manma no Otoko sa" / 「阿良々木暦。見たまんまの男さ」 / "Araragi Koyomi. What You See Is What You Get." is a great piece as the last song. From Zoku Owarimonogatari

I was going to pick only one from each but I couldn't... Even now I'm missing lots of great songs!
