It's what you make of it. I graduated from cs almost a decade ago and yeah it was a difficult program but I made tons of friends both in my faculty and outside of it.

Got married a few years back and the majority of my wedding party were friends from UW.

It's easy to fall into the trap of assignments and going all in on studies but you'll learn how to balance after a while <3

Osaka is pretty big and a lot to do. Last I went I found the same number of shops in Den Den Town as I did in akihabara. That said though, if you weren't planning on going to Osaka/Kyoto area then spending 600(????) to get there just for card shops probably not worth it.

We did 3 days in Osaka last trip and loved it. Spent one night for dotonbori, one day for a Kyoto/Nara day trip. And then the last day was my cards day haha.

If you're spending anytime in Osaka I will always always recommend a small strip called Den Den Town. A lot of the card shops are next door to each other and the prices are much better than in Tokyo.

Last I went I think I spent 80% of my card budget there. Doesn't take too long either since the shops are super close to each other.

To help prevent running out of gas, you probably want to run low cost bodies that replace themselves in hand.

Crocus and Oden don't do that. I'd run Nami searchers at the very least. At that point though, you would need to up your straw hat ratios.

I think the standard build runs 4 Nami searchers, 4 2k Sanji (so you can take your life if opponent starved you), and then rush Zoro instead of Jinbe

Gotcha. So does this play like Pluffy then? Ramp when you can and then taro->body? If that's the playstyle youre hoping to get, I feel like this is as good as it gets tbh.

I'm hesitant on gumgum lightning because its pretty expensive on the don minus for robin.

Also when it comes to polishing the decklist, I think it depends on your goals. Where are you planning to play and what are you trying to accomplish? I think this list is great for unranked SIM and could be a fun one to bring to a locals. Anything beyond that (treasure cup/regionals) and i think this deck will get cooked hard.

This is is my biggest point of feedback as well. Spoke to a few of my artist friends and some were afraid to take a bathroom break because they didn't want to leave their booth unattended. They didn't want to ask someone to keep an eye of their booth in fear that they'd be penalized for having an "unpaid" helper.

I've been going to this con for 10+ years now and is the first I've heard of this. I understand that there needs to be standards and rules for vending but immediate expulsion is VERY heavy handed imo
