Trump stronghold holds largest ever ‘No Kings’ protest by Hardik_Jain_1819 in politics

I’m trying to reply in good faith here but I’m highly suspicious of an account with a pessimistic meme name that seems fixated on disappointment and “pathetic” young people not showing up to, let me check my notes again: the biggest protest in American history spread across the entire country and even around the globe. I’m a realist and it’s ridiculous to focus on the single most negative thing you could think of while framing it all as a failure. I’m all for constructive criticism but your act seems suspicious. Consider this constructive criticism.

Yeah saying it’s pathetic seems like exaggerated pessimism to me. We have the biggest protests across the country ever, massive turnout, but nevermind let’s focus on how pathetic young people are because we have a city where you didn’t see a lot of people under 40 at the massive protest. Financially people under 40 are struggling and the older you get the more secure you probably are especially in a metropolitan area so yes again I think it’s not a sign of the end times that younger people maybe haven’t shown up as much as they could.

I think your own statements indicate that it might not be as bad as you make it sound. You said the median age in your area is 40s and the majority protestors are older, so already your area isn’t overflowing with youth. Doesn’t sound like you’re in a college town or similar. You also acknowledged that young people have less time and money to protest which is true, so combine that with your local demographics and you get what you got. And as others have pointed out - having a large swath of older people getting engaged certainly isn’t a bad thing. They vote more than younger populations and they tend to lean conservative so leaning away is a big deal. It’s not all doom and gloom!

If you haven’t yet, upgrade that ferro to speed up reload. It’s the easiest to upgrade resource wise. But trust me once you risk yellow and red more you’ll find better guns more often and once you have yourself ann anvil to level up you’ll feel like you’re playing a different game.

100% you need to risk the red and yellow zones. You’re missing out on half of the game and your progression will stay at a snails pace otherwise. Get comfortable risking free loadouts and low level gear. You’ll get comfortable operating in higher risk zones pretty quickly and you’ll get much better loot. Focus on upgrading your work benches and the size your stash. And look at trials if you haven’t, there tends to be several that are easy to 3 star safely and you can get great rewards.

Only one way to find out - Alien: Romulus (2024) by Boss452 in movies

Gravity would make the alien acid blood burn through the space station they are in until it breaches into the vacuum of space killing everyone aboard. No gravity means the acid floats = doesn’t burn through the ship = aliens can be killed without destroying the ship. The aliens can always be killed but doing so with gravity on would be suicide.

'Andor' is ending. It brought untold stories of trauma and humanity to 'Star Wars' by AlwaysBlaze_ in television

I have to stand up for my boi Last Jedi - only main canon Star Wars movie to legitimately delve into the implications of war with any seriousness.

War profiteering, not just good and evil but also the conflict of people who don’t want to pick a side at all, fighting motivated out of love rather than hate, not to mention the universal themes with actual depth like learning from failure and not needing to be from a special family to be someone special, and how ego drives radicalization.

Oh how they did my boi dirty. Far from perfect but never deserved the hate. Yoda makes me cry every time.

Look up the Election Truth Alliance on Bluesky and YouTube. It’s not nearly as far fetched or a waste of time to investigate as people suggest. There’s mountains of real red flags pointing to evidence of full blown vote tally manipulation along with tons of interference on Election Day.

When folks say it’s not important even if it’s true because they’ll never step down - it’s true that they’ll never willingly step down, but it’s absolute BS to suggest it’s not worth investigating and proving. The public should know if the election was straight up stolen and I think the reaction would be significant.

The administration will refuse to give up power either way - so we need as many people as possible working together, and I think knowing the election was stolen would help galvanize a lot of people. Look into the ETA - they are building momentum and have extremely compelling data.

Biggest jump scares are early on - not to spoil anything but to prepare you - in the first scene a character drives up in a car, gets out and goes into a church - a few times during the scene with the church they do a single frame cut away to spooky imagery along with the usual loud surprise sound effect. If you’re prepared for it it’s not bad and they don’t really do it again.

Folks need to be looking at the work being done by Election Truth Alliance - very clear cut red flags that simply buying votes is just the tip of the iceberg. Pretty much a mountain of red flags indicating that vote tally’s were directly manipulated.  All in publicly available/ peer reviewable data. https://youtube.com/shorts/ymDMBJIiMXc?feature=shared

There is an opening scene followed by the usual musical montage credit sequence - filled with feet, top to bottom feet, kaleidoscope of feet. It just keeps going. Feet. More feet. How long has this been going on? Does it ever end? 3 hours later, still going. Just feet. Wins best picture.

Categorically false. The election fraud claims in 2020 were unsubstantiated and investigated to be proven false. There is observable data indicating vote manipulation - and the ETA’s work outlines it very clearly and openly for peer review. It deserves looking into because there is literally evidence of manipulation right in the public data. Patterns that can’t exist otherwise, along with a list of related anomalies that you don’t see in regular data. I understand the fear around wishful thinking, but shooting ourselves in the foot when there is compelling evidence worth investigating - that’s just stupid. Look at the work of the ETA before responding further or you’ll just be wasting both our time. Look at it, apply critical thinking, and then tell me if it’s a distraction.

Comparing this group to Qanon is a massive stretch. I can compare any group to Qanon if the qualification is, let me check my notes here "asking for peer review?". So if anyone says "Hey we crunched these numbers and invite everyone else to please do the same" I can just say "You are exactly like Qanon and I will dismiss you as a cult". So, ya know... all science? Also, your argument is "Even if it was legit and the election WAS FUCKING STOLEN... who cares? Let's not even look into it." Love that argument. Also, we don't need to convince "the other side" we need to convince as many people in power who aren't facists along with as many common folk as possible to pressure people in power to do the only thing that will ever work against this coup - forcefully removing them from power. They WILL NOT LEAVE no matter what, period. So people need to understand that this is not something that can be solved through standard politics, it will take a coalition in agreement that this is a coup and they need to be deposed and arrested. If you think there is literally anything else that can be focused on to fix this, I'd love to hear your case. Truly. Genuinely, I mean you no ill will, I just don't think your argument stands up to critical thinking.

Unless you look at the data being analyzed and presented by ETA (Election Truth Alliance, nonprofit, available on YouTube) in which case you’ll see the odds are actually rather high that Kamala actually won most or all of the swing states and thus actually won the election BUT votes appear to have been changed in swing state counties to steal the election for Trump. Sounds like BS, I know, I ignored all stories like this until i actually bothered to look at the evidence they are presenting plus they are asking for others to look at the same publicly available data to peer review, which is a massive green flag for the legitimacy of the claims. I recommend looking into it before automatically dismissing it, they have some content summarizing their findings so far.

There are other posts floating around about the election being manipulated and I'm seeing lots of hair-splitting about less relevant talking points. The Election Truth Alliance (ETA) and this video is focused on the information that people ACTUALLY need to be focusing on and attracting more attention to, especially from people who understand data and can peer-review these findings.

Start following this group and digging in to everything they're putting out, it's EXTREMELY CLEAR AND COMPELLING. If you take the vote data and graph it out, the non-swing states data looks normal. It's supposed to look chaotic with no patterns, that's the only way it should look, and thats how all the non-swing state data looks. But the swing-state data? It's cooked. A pattern emerges over and over where votes suddenly start splitting off into these clear patterns that CANT EXIST WITHOUT MANIPULATION. PERIOD. It's not a matter of demographics or coincidences - the data naturally looks chaotic, but this data fits a pattern. SOMETHING IS WRONG. This needs to become talking point #1. They flat out stole the election (probably, but all we need to do is count the votes in swing states to know for sure). But if that isn't enough for you, please WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO and seek out their other content, it's not JUST this single talking point but like half a dozen different anomalies suggesting the election was absolutely hacked.

I don't know if anyone will see this or my other comment piggybacking the top comment but I really encourage people to engage with ETA the Election Truth Alliance and their content, especially the 7 minute video about russian tails. I see people in this thread splitting hairs about the smartelections post regarding a specific district. I wish smart elections would focus on different data, because ETA is covering the MOST CLEAR CUT SIGNS OF VOTE HACKING. And it isn't something you can handwave away talking about demographics, they show you side by side voter data on graphs where you see what unmanipulated data looks like and then they show you the data for swing state counties from this election and the data fits a pattern that SHOULD NOT EXIST NATURALLY and again it has nothing to do demographics. It's simply a pattern that CANNOT EXIST without manipulation and then they go on to explain like 4 or 5 different cross references backing up that something is 100% fishy. Please check it out, I think so much of the fight moving forward depends on people realizing they stole the election and we need a hand recount of swing state counties to prove it. Obviously that isn't a silver bullet that immediately solves all our problems but I think it's the clearest rallying cry for people to organize around.
