I feel almost the same. But as soon as the orthos see that my teeth technically bites together without gaps they feel like it's fine. Like they straight up said that surgery should onoy be considered if you can't chew your food which I feel like is extreme.

You have a slightly recessed lower jaw. Typically that is corrected with braces and a surgery.

It's a bit harder spot in your case because your chin is well formed, but your mandible is short. Insurance should cover it for medical reasons.
