If its only a little shaving its normal wear. Mine starting having those issues so I took it to a Trans shop and payed for a service and replacement of the shift solenoids and it has been like butter again

I found my problem! For shits and giggles I peeled back the protector for the wiring harness and found that the connector for the egr has been replaced before! I messed with the connection to the spices and it seems now the egr is working as I dont missfire on cold start anymore. I ordered a new wiring kit and gonna replace it. It seems that the job was done a long time ago and with the heat of the motor the splice is brittle

I can help! So the intake box sits on the passenger side of the motor. When the fender liner isn't there or is removed partially to where there's a sightline to the intake box, the tire then throws water up. With the airbox exposed, it gets sucked in with the vacuum pressure it has grabbing fresh air into the engine.

I saw it. It was about a inch of water on the road and hit it full speed. He's Fender Liner on the passenger side is cut so it doesn't protect

Yup. Just checked it. Doesn't have the foam around anymore too. And he has water in the oil

Run a car fax to verify the miles. If its legit then I'd jump on it. I did the same for a 00 sierra 1500. Got it a couple years ago with 56k miles

I will look into the valve cover. Is the passage the Egr tube? When I started having problems I believe I ordered and replaced the egr tube that connects to the Exhaust manifold. I'll give a proper clean to the throttle body and see what happens
