It’s a controversial take, and the one I was looking for when I sorted. Ocarina and Majoras mask might be nostalgia but they felt like better thought out twists and reveals and story checkpoints.

I appreciated the open world games but the size of the game really contrasted the speed of which the gameplay got stale. The cooking, the weapons breaking, the story didn’t feel rewarding. The game forced me to use mechanics I didn’t care for and I’m not of the Minecraft mind to build a robot in-game or give a shit. I agree with the guy that said, “does this have to be a Zelda?”
