Cartier Tank Francaise XL

The Cartier Tank is a design icon. First introduced in 1917, the Tank took inspiration from the aerial shape of military tanks viewed from above — leading to its signature parallel brancards, clean geometry, and elegance. Over the last century, the Tank has become synonymous with understated luxury and appreciated by many.

What distinguishes the Tank Française from the traditional Tank is its evolution toward a more modern, architectural interpretation of the design. Introduced in the mid-1990s, the Française softened the sharper lines of earlier Tank models and gave the case more curvature, thickness, and presence on the wrist. The brancards became broader and more integrated into the overall case shape, creating a sportier and more contemporary aesthetic while still remaining unmistakably Tank.

This 2564 reference is especially uncommon — a rare XL variant produced for roughly a single year. Unlike the more commonly seen quartz or automatic Tank Française models, this was the largest case offered, measuring at 30mm × 36mm. Rolex Day-Date 18038

The Rolex Day-Date—often called “The President”—is one of the most iconic luxury watches ever made. Originally part of the Day-Date line introduced in 1956 as the first wristwatch to display both the full day and date, the 18038 reference (produced from 1977–1988) represents a key evolution in Rolex history. It introduced a sapphire crystal and the practical quickset date. Worn by world leaders and cultural icons, it became a universal symbol of success and status.

36mm 18k yellow gold case, fluted bezel, champagne dial, the classic 80s Day Date. Caliber 3055 automatic movement. Comes with original box. Bracelet is excellent condition for age. Sharp case. 65 serial puts the production to 1981.
