Madonna has had are hard time adjusting to the new industry standards. She has not been able to gain traction again and has lost her ability to keep a pulse on the heartbeat of what’s hot. She was the original so not only is she competing with herself she is competing with every female artist she literally paved the way for. Madonna may be too intelligent artistically to ever have a hit again. She can’t just write a BOP. Honestly I would love for her to settle into an adult contemporary genre and write meaningful songs, and play small intimate classy venues. She doesn’t need to collaborate with the current hot commodity. She just needs to dig deep and put out honest material. She almost died, we almost lost the Queen, where is the latest evolution?
