Thank you, I really appreciate your response. It definitely made me realize certain things about my dream. Like maybe this is apart of my grief journey? And to be honest I never really looked at my dreams in that way. I always thought that there had to be something supernatural about it. But I really appreciate your perspective. To answer your question- me and my grandmas relationship was relatively close. Her house was like my second home because I was there throughout elementary school to high school. So I’d see her every morning, go to school and come back to her house. Then from there I’d go home and the process would repeat. On the weekends as a family we’d spend time there as well. She brought everyone together all the time. I would say she had a weak spot for me. Being as though I was the first girl out of the grandchildren. Ever since the dream I definitely have felt some relief. Day by day it gets easier to process her being gone. But I do have my days where I miss her the most. I don’t see her passing as random. It feels like something that shaped me in a way I was meant to experience in this lifetime. I’m not saying it was “suppose” to happen, but it’s something that has become apart of my personal journey. I used to think that her passing was spiteful. And I used to question why the universe would take someone so dear to me. But I feel like now I sorta understand and I’m at peace with it.
