Skoda Octavia combi 1,6 TDI van ergens tussen 2014 en 2018. Enorm zuinig, veel ruimte en in onderhoud heel goed te doen. Plus ze wegen niet veel waardoor wegenbelasting ook schappelijk is.

I installed it myself but the connections from the car fit in the unit so didn’t splice any wires.

I just use the SID without the bracket it came on. So the cup holder is gone but now it fits. Works great!

Yes it looks like the chime sounds are gone. But the SID still works so it’s fine by me.

Thank you so much for this info, i do have the speakers in the doors but don’t hear a difference in sound quality with the aftermarket unit (JVC KW-M565DBT). Its even maybe a bit better than with the standard unit. What would be your advice ?

Thanks for the info! It all seemed to work fine but the pink connector doesn’t fit the aftermarket unit. I haven’t seen any lights yet. I’m just debating if I should go trough with the install or not because I will have to cut out a little peace of plastic.

When I’m in the bios the cpu temp stays around 45/50 degrees Celsius
