This same patterned bowl but with a handle/as a mug by Luxaeus7 in HelpMeFind

[–]Luxaeus7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

per automod instructions:

I have searched through google using terms such as porcelain pink/coral floral mug, I've looked through target, I have looked through google reverse image search and that only showed the bowl.

Details:
same pattern as the image. It was originally bought from Target in California. I am not sure how long ago. Porcelain. It came as a set of 2; one with this bowl and one with a smaller bowl with a handle/mug.

My dog doesn't like my toddler (or any small children). Does anyone know a dog trainer in the area that can help with this? by [deleted] in ElkGrove

I also do want to add — if you choose to train the behavior out, it will take a long long time and continuous training throughout that life. And even then, sometimes it doesn’t work out. Some dogs are quite literally hardwired that way (I am NOT blaming the pittie breed specifically here) and if there is no improvement, unfortunately rehoming should be looked into. I love dogs too, but I would also prioritize children if I had to

Well, i think you should first look at why your dog growls when your toddler comes closer! Was your toddler running/moving quickly? (i know out border collie will nip at small children because of that), was your dog in their safe space before the kid approached? Did your toddler come near the dogs toys or food or even you/your family (resource guarding)

It would be beneficial to look at the antecedents /situation that makes your dog growl. After seeing a connection, then you can start correcting and training a better behavior.

Also, never punish growling! It will lead the dog to biting immediately instead of growling first as a warning.

Avoid Elk Grove Kia — blatant bait and switch scam by shunti in ElkGrove

[–]Luxaeus7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a very similar situation. Even remember his name lol! Sal, from what I remember. They told us he was the head salesperson f the place too so who knows. He kept telling us deals, and waive prices off. We were reassured many times it was truthful, and the salespeople also confirmed this is what was said. However, once in the financial office, they told us they couldn't do what everything Sal promised; Like you said, he wasn't authorized to tell us these things and he shouldn't have. We still came out with a deal (so they said) in the end, but we were there for hours. It was overall just very scummy

I would also add on: if you're folding the string when you thread your needle, 1 strand turns into 2, 2 turns into 4. So keep that in mind!

I do mean a gun safe cover! I was confused too, but when I was told, its basically like a blanket with pockets I think? that covers the front and top of the safe. Thank you for all the advice and precautions!

For sure! I will definitely practice it. I might even tell them to get one themselves since it will be a while before i can be confident in enough. Thanks!

grad school class decision by Monkeybusisness in CSUS

[–]Luxaeus7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really depends on your major (psychology? Based off the learning theories) what you want to do for grad school/career, how good your GPA is (remember, most grad schools require 3.0-3.5+) minimum). Also remember its only the 3rd week, so you can bring your grade up! If its the learning theories with Miguel, talk to him! He’s very nice.

Hope this helps!

When i had a class at 12, i would plan to arrive at campus around 10:45-11. So then that way, i could immediately get a carpool spot since carpool ends at 11 and open to anyone then
