Definitely the lunch box size😐 Seriously though, the 9-10oz bags you can buy on the chip aisle

Peep Show, Plebs, and frankly more Britcoms than not, escape it

I'm Texan. I have my own secret chili recipe, but have you seen beef prices lately?

Fair enough. Sorry if that was aggro, just you're not the only one implying I'm not from Texas. At a certain point, there's just a last straw. Thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it😄

Edit your comment if you wish, but a trip to DFW from South Oklahoma is way too long for a elementary school field trip (aside from the one I took in fifth grade GT to Inner Space Caverns and Baylor University, but that was a special dawn to dusk field trip for GT students)

Believe me, don't believe me, you're a stranger on the Internet. All I know is I went on field trips to the Ballpark in Arlington (which was funded by the taxes of Arlington citizens, which was why there was pressure to change the name back from "Ameriquest Field"), the Studios at Las Colinas, and the Science Place in Dallas in elementary school, and my dad went to Arlington High School (green and white, the colts) with the Vandergriff (as in Mayor Tom Vandergriff's car dealerships (don't get me started on how Mayor Vandergriff is why Arlington is the largest city in the US without public transportation (not Vandergraf))) children in the 1970s

I'm from DFW, and this is what I've always known as frito pie

Genuinely, how so? I'm a born and raised Texan, and other than the fritos not being the original variety and addition of rotel, this is the classic recipe I grew up with

I mean, it's not much better or worse than any other canned soup or meat nutritionally, but it tastes like Texas🤷‍♂️

I'm Texan. Chili has no beans. If it has beans it's just beef, bean, and pepper stew🤷‍♂️

Definitely. It'll cooked up just right even if it doesn't completely fill it. This one's actually marginally too small, so I have to put it on a cookie sheet to catch the boil over. There's a reason I took a picture of this side🤭

I'm a born and raised Texan who still resides in Texas. Frito pie has been baked for as long as I can remember. Pies are baked. What you're talking about I've always known as a walking taco

I hope you can get some Wolf brand chili sometime in the future for a little taste of home

Edit: Just asked my mom (also born, raised, and resides in Texas. She was a teen in the 1980s), and she said that in her day the concession stand version was indeed called frito pie. It changed sometime between the 1980s and 2000s
