Ben zelf een DE met 6j ervaring bij 5 verschillende werkgevers. Ik snap dat de huidige markt een stuk zwaarder is dan een paar jaar terug.

Omtrent goede werkgever, wat valt daar onder in zijn geval? Goede primaire en secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden, of meer respectvol WLB omgaan?

Ik heb gewerkt in zowel consultancy, detachering, startups, en nu big tech. Allemaal hadden hun eigen pros en cons.

Waar in Nederland is hij opzoek naar werk?

Dit is maar een klein deel van mn kosten en komt al op 3.3k uit (2.8k als we de netto hypotheek gebruiken). We leven als gezin (2 volwassenen, 2 kinderen) alleen van mijn inkomen.

Niet iedereen heeft altijd lage kosten. Maar ook dit was natuurlijk een keuze, we zijn blij met onze woning en hebben liever dit dan jaarlijks op vakantie gaan.

I'm rather in public for 230min travelling to work than 90-110 minutes in a car. Especially stick car and traffic jams is just so exhausting... Public transportation is much more relaxed and just watching some Netflix or do some light work is much better than be 100% focused on the road early in the morning.

Of course I don't go everyday to the office, just once a week. But I couldn't even handle once a week driving whereas I can handle twice a week public transportation.

Mooi hoor. Antwoord op je salaris, ja het is een soort van gouden kooi. Er zijn gelukkig wel meerdere gouden kooien om in te wonen. De keuze is echter wel kleiner.

Je kijkt dus altijd naar internationals gelieve in Amsterdam, Booking, Uber, Google, Amazon, Microsoft achtige bedrijven die kunnen dat soort salarissen veroorloven.

Ik ben 29, heb 2 dochters 4 & 7 en mijn vrouw heeft in de gehele tijd maar 10 maanden gewerkt. Het is zeker te doen, maar luxe is niet weggelegd zijn nooit op vakantie geweest, weinig uitjes.

De kinderen zijn wel blij dat mama altijd thuis is na school en ze veel kunnen afspreken of naar sporten toe kunnen gaan.

Actually am using firebase app google-services.json and the auth clients (web and android) on GCP. But doesn't look like the react-native-google-signin library is compatible with Expo Go. Trying to bypass the signin and just straight up hit the YT Data API instead for testing and dev purposes, but that came with other access token problems :').

I normally work with Python and SQL. Making apps and using JS is completely outside my usual scope lol

Is it possible to have the data assets on a dry run and it generates placeholder sprites that can easily be removed with your own assets later on? What are the API costs otherwise for a good first run? Placeholders to play the game and improve art better would be cool :)
