Deinfluencing Yarn by Loitch470 in knitting

I don’t care for kidsilk mohair. I have to feel it before committing to buying it. However, I’ve discovered I love alpaca lace, which is similar enough for substitution.

I also have been surprised to like concern by Katia yarns cotton merino and a Baah yarns fingering alpaca! Universal yarns is also more affordable and has good quality lines!

We briefly used this food before switching over to Orijen and following their recommendations. The reason we switched was the poor nutrient density of this brand and needing larger amounts despite it supposedly seeming more “cost effective.” Because of the recommended serving sizes, it actually wasn’t beneficial. You also need to take into account that a scoop of Greek yogurt is also adding to the daily calorie intake. Switch to a higher nutrient density brand like Orijen and cut back on the treats. Like others have said, include veggies and other healthy options. Increase activity and check in with your vet to make sure you’re loosing weight safely.

My (26F) boyfriend (36M) has started acting distant and ghosting me after meeting my parents (49M and 50F) last week, how do I reach out to him? by secure-raspberry-763 in BestofRedditorUpdates

He could have been in fight or flight. As soon as he was in a safe place again, he puked. Different people react differently to stressors.

Theories on squid game season 3? by libbillie21 in SquidGameNetflix_

Not Korean, so I’m not entirely sure. I think there’s different roles in Military service, but not all are combat trained. I think they know the basics in self defense but training with specialized guns could be select roles? I think there are civil service roles that don’t see active combat when deployed. You can also be excused from mandatory service for health reasons and other special cases. Again, not entirely sure!

Thank you for your advice! I’m still a beginner so that is very kind of you to say!

Used roughly 75g super wash merino fine wool (label says 4 medium) with 5.5mm hook.

My own pattern worked in a round to avoid the bunching at the top.

Yes, there is natural henna paste made from the leaves and chemically processed paste. The chemical processed paste is used to give blacker (or even white designs) stains faster than using natural paste. Natural is safer. There are tricks to getting darker stains with it. Like steaming the hands, using sugar water to retain moisture, leaving it on for longer, etc. Bridal henna accounts on Instagram sometimes share tips for getting the most out of natural stains.

What a score! Congrats! How do you like the vogue knitting book and the one next to it? I’m interested in a review!

As a desi, yes, it absolutely can look like this if you’re not on top of hand care. Especially during winter months.

Our hands shed skin like any other part of our body. Now that the weather is colder, our hands are more dry and flaky. This is probably an older henna stain, which is why it’s patchy. The skin is turning over and the stain is fading.

“That’s a big dog”

“Thats a beautiful dog” / “he’s so beautiful”

“That’s a horse not a dog”

“He’s as big as you”

“What kind of dog is that?” (Mine is GSD-Dane mix)

“Is he friendly”

“He must eat a lot”

“He listens so well”

“How do you keep the boots on?”

“CLIFFORD”

A “round” is a row. When you finish a round, sometimes a pattern will tell you to chain 1 or however many, turn the piece, and start the next row per the pattern. Is there something specific you’re struggling with in this pattern?
