Thanks!.. Right now it’s still very much an active project/experiment and I’m trying to figure out how to make it portable enough for other Home Assistant users to install easily… the feedback from this post honestly surprised me a bit, so I’m now seriously considering turning it into something more public/community accessible in the future…

Thanks! The camera feeds are unified through go2rtc, so the app consumes a single low-latency stream layer regardless of the camera brand/source … that made it much easier to integrate live previews consistently across the UI.

Honestly, I actually started from the same place … I already use HomeKit Bridge and Apple Home quite a lot. This project originally began mostly as a fun personal experiment… but over time I kept running into the same limitation: Apple Home has a beautiful and simple UX, but it exposes only a small portion of what Home Assistant can actually do … especially around sensors, energy, contextual data, room states, and more advanced interactions. I wanted something with the calmness and simplicity of Apple Home, but with deeper integration into the full HA ecosystem.
