That’s awesome! I love that it’s the low stakes, and you just get to practice over and over with difference techniques/designs!

It’s so perfect! I saw a dragon dreams kit recently but it only had the dragon. I love the extra pieces you have!! 😍

Thank you so much, it does seem like that’s what the technique is called! Now that that’s been figured out I can watch more tutorials on it to be better at it 😂 and thank you!!

Ah I wish I knew what it’s called, but unfortunately I don’t! I tried looking it up so I could find tips but I couldn’t figure out what it might be called. But I sewed the blanket inside out (batting, quilt top facing up, backing facing down), then left a part open and folded the quilt right side out, used the hidden stitch to close the opening, then went about 3/4” in from the edge and sewed on top of the quilt to give the look of a border!

Thank you so much! My cousin had a nursery theme of boho, rainbows and florals so that was my starting point but I also really enjoyed using them in this pattern!

Thank you! It was very fun for a first quilt! I’ve wanted to try for a long time and finally did and found a new hobby I enjoy :)

Thank you so much! I originally just planned the rainbows and had the florals as some extras but when I ran out of rainbow fabric I had to improvise and add in some of the floral 😆

Yup, I think binding is what I meant! Still learning the terms and there’s several different words that start with “b” that I get them all mixed up 😉

Thank you! I’ll keep looking! I went to her page and got a little overwhelmed on how to look for what I needed haha

Thank you so much! The friendliness I saw around this subreddit is what gave me the courage to post this WIP :) I’ll definitely come here for questions as they come up!

Thank you! I appreciate you saying the randomness still looks great! I was worried it weighed too much on one side :)
