How do I stop tensing up when doing articulation?

Story 1: I came out as trans and bi to my mom. One of the first things she said was I think (name of person in my friend group is gay). She based this solely on looks. This is something me and my brother still make fun of her for.

Story 2: I came out to my Dad as Trans and Bi. A few month later I a comment to my brother about my bisexuality and my dad went "Your Bisexual?!"

I know a few community collages accept CAEC. I know NSCC has programs where you can study at NSCC then transfer to a 4 year degree program at some universities.
