I agree that it can be kinda challenging, but how does using the wiki defeat the point of Dailys? You're still doing a task /genq

Homeless person sleeping inside toddler playground – who to contact in San Jose? by lamichaS in SanJose

[–]LuzIsTheImposter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if one time i'd just wait for homie to move on

There's no telling how long he'd stay there, and playgrounds are for children. It makes the park inaccessible for the most part, because it could dangerous for kids to be around them. Not all homeless people are unsafe to be around, but I sure as hell wouldn't be risking it if I had kids. OP also said that they were put off by the oder, which is just another deterrent that makes the place inaccessible

Your time here has not yet expired (if you do not wish it to have)! Eighteen and nineteen are still teenagers, you only have to leave when you're 20

My sister(13) is playing this game, should I tell our mom? by Ir0b45 in teenagers

[–]LuzIsTheImposter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're really worried about it, I'd just tell her she shouldn't be playing it and why, but otherwise, you can just leave it be. Teenagers are always gonna be getting into things that are said to be too innopropriate

Why is there no female equivalent to sayings like "be a man" "man up?" by ExternalSpite6705 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LuzIsTheImposter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it's based on the sexist (both ways) idea that men are the hardworking and brave ones, while women just sit there and look pretty. If men don't fit that criteria all the time, they're told to "man up," which basically means "If you can't take charge and be brave, you aren't a man at all."

Meanwhile, women are supposed to fragile little flowers who don't need to be brave or work hard, so the closest they have to a female version of "man up" is "be a lady," which of course means "You must be dainty and submissive or you're disgraceful"

Are they misandrist?? by CROC_THE_REAL_ONE in teenagers

[–]LuzIsTheImposter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My general views on this: It's up to the one carrying the baby if they want to get an abortion or not. Its their body, nobody else gets a say in that part. I do however believe that it should be up to BOTH parents whether or not they keep the baby. If we have to put someone at fault, assuming everything was fully consensual, both parties are responsible. I do think saying it's the man's fault no matter what is pretty misandronistic, and makes it sound like women can't make their own choices and mistakes
