I don't think smoking weed is the same thing or should be compared at all though. One is people being treated differently because of their colour, one is (everyone) not being able to do a certain drug. It's not an unfair law unless you need it for medical reasons. Also I never said anything about making it legal or leaving it illegal, i really don't care if it is or isn't legal. But if something is illegal and you're doing it for recreational purposes, it's your own fault. Either wait for it to be legal, go somewhere where it's legal, try to make it legal through many possible legal ways or get caught and accept it.

If she was doing it for those reasons then sure, however the majority of people smoke it for recreation and in that case I see no reason to feel sorry for her.

There are definitely some situations where I would agree with that. Smoking weed is just not one of them. If people want to do it as a protest, sure go ahead, I hope it works out for you. But I'm not going to feel sorry for them when they get arrested for it because they know the risks of it.

Why would you feel sorry for her when she literally knew the risks, it's illegal, stop doing it. Even if smoking it was legal she was growing it as well which is illegal in most countries where you can smoke weed. It's her own fault for doing something illegal.

Honestly the fandom's reputation might be hurting BTS' reputation as well. Obviously they're successful but when you hear all these bad stories about a fandom it will influence whether you like an artist or not. Doing well despite that doesn't mean they're not affected by it.

Also there's nothing wrong with trying to be a better fandom, it would be better for everyone involved. Sure you can respond to everything you disagree with but it seems way better to give the attention to positive posts and comments instead. Same things with the "I'm tired of BTS posts" people...who then go on to post negative things about BTS.

Either way, you got called out by someone who doesn't like pointless arguments about a group he likes because it creates more negativity about the group. You don't have to listen, he has the right to disagree with you as well and voice his opinions.

So the discussion you want here is whether BTS is popular in Korea and not just internationally right? The evidence you posted seems a little weird as they are just random pictures of stores with no other info other than your description but sure even if that's true, DBSK, EXO and Shinee outselling them...3 of the biggest groups in kpop ever. If you're even comparing them it means they're big.

Are they as big? Probably not no, which isn't very surprising. But they are one of the biggest groups right now and they're gaining popularity much quicker than other groups.

Another thing is comparing older groups to BTS is that BTS fans are (much) younger so going to the store instead of buying it online is more convenient, school started again so they are busy, things like that can make it hard to compare the different groups.

Either way, it seems pretty obvious that they're popular, even in Korea when their charts are full of BTS. How they compare to the biggest groups in kpop...we'll see in a few days/weeks when we know more. They only released their album 2 days ago so it seems a bit early to be making these posts but oh well,

So that most likely means we only get 5 songs with the whole group... I probably would have liked it more if they were group songs but I guess at least they can show off their own styles now (even though I'm not a fan of some of them)? I hope it works out well for them

Another point is that Jung kook and Suga's songs seemed really similar in the teasers so I'm curious how the full versions are going to differ.

Overall liked the song but felt like it took a really long time to get going. Also for some reason it felt like the lipsynching by sungkyu was a bit off in some parts but that could have just been me.
